Good Points: It's a good size
The lens doesn't protrude out and become vulnerable to hits
It is durable, and it has a good screen with buttons that are easy to press
The zoom is up to a good standard for taking the photo and for examining a previous photo

Bad Points: The battery pack doesn't last that long, but it's not really that bad

General comments: I have dropped and sat on my Canon Ixus i5 digital camera a fair amount of times to learn it has the durability of a monster truck. I used to have a Casio - one sit on it and BYE BYE, it's dead.

This size is practical and fits into the case easily. The size also makes others go wow, SO cute. This camera has been mine for nearly 2 - 3 years now, and it has never failed me. It has a screen that is a perfect size; not to small to be hard to see, and not to big to be broken easily. The lens is perfect because it only sticks out a few centimetres, whereas the newer versions, such as the 7 - 8 Mega-pixel ones stick out a hell of a lot, and if they are whacked, it's a funeral indeed.

Overall, this camera is a brilliant, worthwhile and durable camera with plenty of features and abilities that will make it a good and lasting camera.

The Canon Ixus i5 digital camera is a great little point and shoot camera. Originally a bit pricey but now obtainable at a fairly low cost for a Canon. The size is approximately the same as a packet of 10 cigarettes so it fits easily into a pocket or bag. It has an integral rechargeable battery which lasts very well on one charge.

The digital zoom is OK, but I wish I had gone for the higher spec with 'proper' zoom. I have had some really good outdoor shots, though it's a bit slow when taking ...
