Good Points: Nice zoom. Good speed. Ability to flip the LCD when not in use.

Bad Points: Heavy. Hazy pictures compared to my Nikon Coolpix 5700.

General comments: The Canon PowerShot A95 digital camera was a disappointment. I felt that the images where hazy compared to my two Nikon cameras. The four AA batteries made the camera heavier than most others. I ended up giving this one to my mother who didn't have a digital camera. She loves it. For myself it was a step down, but for any first timers this is a good camera. That said. I would look to a Nikon in the same price range first.

Canon PowerShot A95: In the beginning I wanted a digital camera capable of movie clips and around a 5 megapixel output. I narrowed it down to this camera and another from Sonys range of cybershot cameras. After much advice from many stores I was driven away from the sony but only due to their lack of experience in cameras. The camera is great to use and has many excellent features, therefore making this a very versatile camera. My favourite features are the flip out screen and the excellent ...
