Excellent quality shots from my Fuji Finepix E550, a much better camera than you'd expect for the price. The large battery section on the side makes it a bit 'slr'-like without being so. Sometimes photos taken in low light not so good. Had one for 3 years now, no problems

Over 1700 shots, and I can say this is the best digital point-shoot digital camera made yet by Fuji. The ability to go fully manual is unprecedented at this level. The Fuji Finepix E550 digital camera and Photoshop can produce pro results. AA battery is a life saver abroad. If you can still pick one up, do. Great camera!!

AND if an outdoor shot has a big co ...

We bought the Fuji Finepix E550 digital camera online a couple of months ago (one of their top sellers), and I must say it was an excellent choice indeed.
Both picture and movie capture quality are great, and there are plenty of manual features for the more experienced photographer.
Although the camera is slightly bigger than FX an Ixus, I have not been bothered by it.
The only downside I can think of concerns the batteries: Always use rechargeable camera batteries, as these give you ...
