Good Points: It was only £65 brand new, so it is very good value for money. Nice compact size, with no protruding lens, but 3 x optical zoom, so can fit in my waterproof case. Tough camera. Easy menu and very few buttons.
Bad Points: Flash takes forever to charge, and can mean you miss the moment. No viewfinder (screen only), means that the batteries waste power needlessly running the screen. Sometimes struggles to focus in lower light and smoky conditions... worse than my other Minolta. Joystick for menu is a bit fiddly
General comments: The Konica Minolta Dimage X31 is a nice digital camera, and it was the best of its type at the time, but stuff has moved on a bit now.
