Good Points: Resolution, customised setup.
Bad Points: BATTERY LIFE! Backlit photography doesn't meet standard's.
General comments: On buying the Samsung Digimax V5 for a very reasonable price I was very pleased. Considering for the money and what its competitors offer it firstly seems a excellent camera. Though on closer inspection you realise everything isn't what it seems. However for the value I believe it's probably the best on the market. You will be buying an excessive amount of batteries, so best get some rechargables..however you will be charging them regulary!
I have also had many problems with switching this unit on. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.
It isn't working now, perhaps the brand new batteries are faulty, perhaps not. Though I've heard alot of problems with other makes too. The first 6 months this camera was great. Now!? Well I'm going to be using my film camera for my holiday.
