Great lens and electronics means it took really great pictures, the lithium oin battery lasted forever. Fast, very fast. Only 6 MB of internal memory, so you have to dish out more for that, The case is more bulky than other similar models, and it wont fit nicly in a compact camera case, uncompressed jpg's means every pic is upwards of 1 MB and takes up mega space on youre memory card, Same with the video, very big files size here, The main gripe is the UNNRELIABILITY. I dont think I'll get... (read more)

I have had the Casio Exilim EX Z40 digital camera for about 3 years now, and I have had no big problems with it. The zoom is not a wow factor, but for this size of camera it's hard to find a bigger one. It is also a very small nice design with a metal finish to it. Casio support says they'll look at it and see if it's covered under warranty (lens damage isn't, but manufacturing defects are). A week later I get an invoice for $207.95. Even though I called their support number (1.800.706.2534 option... (read more)

Bertie's Response to 4W4K3's Review

Nice review there 4W4K3. Digital zoom is a gimmick and is only included to keep up with the competition. I NEVER use it.

BTW, I always thought Frisco was a pet name for San Francisco. Perhaps you have a ranch like Bick Benedict....
