“Wrong airport”

When I booked a holiday to Dominican Republic the price then went up by £200 when I was going to pay the for balance of the holiday. The representative that I booked the holiday with made a mistake with the original price quoted which took nearly 12hours to rectify as they could not retrieve the original booking price which was emailed to me. “Absolute Shambles”

Right from the start we had nothing but problems with Teletext holidays. Firstly our booking was wrong, we asked for and got quoted for 2 rooms for 4 adults in the hotel of our choice. However when the confirmation arrived, we had been given one twin room for 4 people. We then rang (several times) to inform them this was not what we had requested. “Unobtainable customer service”

I have tried three times to contact Teletext Holidays Customer Service to make a small amendment to a forthcoming holiday. I have tried at various times of the day, but to no avail. I have not gone on holiday yet and the experience has been awful. I was pressured into booking by being told they were the last places. Transpired to be a lie. “Customer service a joke”

We arrived at our hotel at 5:00am to be informed that teletext holidays had not made a reservation for our room and the hotel was full. The hotel kindly found us alternative accommodation which while far from ideal at least provided us somewhere to stop. This hotel only had space for a few days, and despite numerous phone calls to the very dodgy Indian call center it took an email to the Md before a hotel was found for the remainder of our holiday. “Nightmare”

August 16th 2014 I booked up in April 2014 for a two holiday to the Moon Palace in Cancum. We arrived at the hotel , only to find that our room had been cancelled? Even though I had the accommodation voucher and all other paperwork, the room had been cancelled. After making a few calls back to England at my expense, I was told by Teletext holidays that this would be sorted out the next day. “Terrible holiday company will never deal with again!”

The whole issue started the week before we went. I received a phone call 15/07/2014 at 2pm only a few days before I am due to departure on 22/07/2014, stating the provider for the hotel has gone into administration and that my original hotel has been cancelled. The call was totally out of the blue and was received on my mobile; no other alternative numbers were attempted. I booked a holiday for my partner and I. Booking number TT168147. I was told by the adviser Ken i would receive conformation of the hotel within 2 days. This did not happen. When i called back i was told the information i was promised would only be delivered 72 hours before my flight. This is not what Ken told me. Ken also promised the hotel would be on the beach. I wish that were true. I contacted teletext on Sunday who said yet would listen to the phone call but I won't get a full refund. They told me they would get back to me in 24-48 hours. It is now Wednesday and I have not heard a thing. It seems company standard to lie and not fulfil and promise made to a customer. Absoloutly shocking sales people and customer service people. How could this be a business model to upset customers and then continue to lie.

We booked a 4 star quiet hotel in Ixia Rhodes only to arrive at the hotel and be told that we had not been booked in at all and that a taxi would pick us up and take us to another hotel. I realise now the sole intention of the person I spoke to at customer service was to sell me the holiday with no consideration for providing the specific details of the holiday.
