Fun and Zippy alternative to a motorcycle! Great alternative for commuting to work. Really good pick up. Great storage. Easy to handle and manouever in traffic. Amazing visibility. No bad points.

I bought a 2002 used Kymco Bet & Win, with 4800 miles on it and have added 800 more, total enjoyment. Took the msf course before I purchased and decided after riding rebels in the course to purchase something that didn't need shifting and am very happy with my decision. the previous owner had the seat remodeled so that one with long legs can stretch out very nice added feature.

Like the last poster, the fact that my 7 year old could touch his feet (and be legal) was a huge factor. The neat thing about this scooter is the hybrid design- shaped like a smaller 'commuter scooter' but capable of all highway speeds. Wind buffeting for my weight is a concern (even with a Puig screen on the front) but it's a fair trade for it's agility in slower speed traffic. The gas mileage really falls off if you are doing 70+, and you find yourself tucking your feet back and dropping your ...

I've had my Kymco B&W 250 (known as a Bug Hawk here in Australia) for a year now and have over 6000k's on the clock, and overall I am quite happy with it. Besides the standard servicing nothing has gone wrong with it (touch wood!). It's quite a good all round scooter in that it is quite agile when used in city/built up areas and has great acceleration off the mark and easily reaches speed, and with a top speed of around 130k's per hour it's certainly fine to go on longer distance trips too. It d ...

I am an avid cross-country motorcyclist (Member of Iron Butt Assoc.). I have ridden to every state of our great country traversed Canada 3-times and rode to Mexico twice. I know a thing or two about long hours in the saddle. And I LOVED my little Bet & Win 250! Compared to my large bikes it was nimble, parked easy, women often approached to ask me questions about my scooter and I....sold it. Duh! They hardly ever approach me on my commonly BIG bikes. Is it kool to have a scooter? I would highly ...

I have been riding my Kymco B&W 250 for three years. I have had many scooters, this one is by far the best. My dealer has been pushing me to buy the new Kymco xciting 500. Big problem because I love my 250 to much to considerate it. The 250B&W ROCKS!

I ride the Kymco Bet and Win in San Francisco and in Main County. Handles well in city streets and has plenty of power for hills and the freeway. I use it about once or twice a week for commuting from Main County which is just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. There is a major hill (the Waldo Grade) heading past Sausalito and it goes up that hill at 65 MPH or better. It's just a great bike for the price. I have 5000 KM on it and not had a single mechanical problem.

I took it from MA to AK on back of RV. Did 3600 flawless miles on it all over the place on some rugged roads. It runs great. Just check the spring clips on the radiator lines, they can work loose and leak. I carry a pair of pliers and and a water bottle with anti-freeze in it in addition to their tool kit. It takes care of everything. I am totally happy with the bike and now ride it all over Cape Cod and the Islands. i have fallen off bike rack, dumped it three times, and it still runs grea ...

Had some electrical issues with my Kymco causing flat battery - wheel nut came off causing frame to crack. - main stand has a plate to keep it from hitting engine, too flimsy and wore out quickly

The Kymco Bet and Win is a sporty scooter and I find it just right for riding around the city. Although I would not recommend it for long rides.

I think the Kymco Bet and Win 250cc is one of the best kept secrets in scooters. I've had mine now since June 9, 2006 and put on over 3400 km. So far, no problems...nor do I expect any. I find the fit and finish to be as good or better than on the top name bikes from Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha. And if you ever want a confirmation you made the right decision, just check out the Tank Scooter forum on Yahoo! and see the troubles they have with cheap Chinese clones. They didn't pay as much, and th ...

This is my first bike/scooter. I bought it originally for gas mileage reasons and for the fact that it's small enough for my wife to ride, but big enough for two people as well. There's plenty of get up and go, digital dash and locking under storage big enough for my XL siege bell helmet. the only downside is I have to unscrew the top to get to the spark plug. This is definitely recommended for a new rider as its easy to use but can also get on the highway if need, be with ease.

I bought my Kymco Bet and Win 250 to my friend with a mileage of 1250 miles for $2350 USD. There many freebies like RS Taichi Mesh Jacket,HJC Convertible Helmet, motorcycle cover and sparkplug. I found this scooter very fast, it's like a rocket on a mid size build scooter. Very easy to use. The panel is very advance with it's digital guage and light effect. No problem with tropical climate because it has water cooling system on it. I will recomend this scooter for beginner and pro riders. ...

Wow. What a scooter. This Kymco Bet and Win 250cc is my first big scooter and I feel really good about the purchase. I bought a used 2003 model with only 500 miles on it for $2500. The deal included lots of extras like the Givi top box, extra spark plugs, air filters and light kit. The scooter is perfect for small trips around the area as well as no problems with occassional highway runs. The ability to pull out in front of traffic to avoid congestion is effortless. I highly recommend this model ...
