I am now onto my third thermostat in as many months. Very noisy tumble dryer and not worth the money. I wouldn't recommend it.

A complete and utter waste of money. Made strange and LOUD noise from the off and has now broken down, even though hardly used. Tried to take machine apart to investigate problem (suspect that motor has gone) and, well, forget it; I'd have more luck taking apart the space shuttle and replacing a component than I can with this pile of screws, hinges and hidden flaps. This machine is clearly designed for Creda engineers only, with special tools. Think 'Raiders of the lost Ark' and how Indiana Jone ...

Had the Creda TCR2 for 2 years. Broke down after one year - needed replacement fan thing. Broke down again after two years - had to have new capacitor. Then engineer out a third time for replacement thermostat. Then broke broke down again so decided to cut our losses and scrap to buy a new one.
Wish I'd read these reviews before buying!!

Only had the TCR2 two weeks. Use only once because it keeps tripping the electricity when trying to dry. Only works on the end of cycle cool tumble, so I cannot dry the clothes and had to put them on the radiators to dry. Complete waste of money!

What a pile of rubbish this Creda TCR2 dryer is. I've had it for around 18 months and it has stopped working. I cannot, try as I might ,get the water to go into the water bottle, it justs keeps filling up in the base. I've bought new parts, but now it looks like I will have to buy a new dryer. Complete waste of time and money. DONT BUY IT.

Avoid a Creda TCR2 if you use it everyday. Despite following the manufacturers guidelines for maintenance it fails regularly. One week wait for an Engineer means extra expense for my family! Had the product 6 Months and I have called out an Engineer 3 Times. Large Family with lots of drying needs.

The Creda TCR2 is OK for light use. Spend more if you want a machine that will last if you are likely to use the machine a lot. Thermostat has gone twice in 3 years plus squeaky noise requiring new bearings or something like that twice. Fluff travels downwards from the filter and is hard to clean out.

My Creda TCR2 is 2 years old. We only used the machine an hour a week, if that. This weekend it broke down, I called out the repair man , faulty motor, thermostat, and damaged heating elements, and the cost to repair £180!. Considering I paid £260 for a new one they advised me to scrap it and save my money. Buy another Creda? You must be joking!

We bought our creda TCR2 as it looked good and has a wide drum with a large capacity but soon after buying it started making horrendous screeching noises. The engineer called out and within seconds diagnosed the problem as " this is a commen problem with the machine the splines on the impellor fan at the rear are plastic and should be metal they have worn" he told us . 5 mins later off he trot after repairing the problem. several months later the same problem so we spoke to creda who showed no i ...

Creda machine only used during winter months and odd rainy day, no kids so used maybe once or twice a week in winter.
Creda used to be a good product but it seems that we are in a throw away society and if it lasts through the usual 1 year warranty then you are lucky.
Will not buy another Creda product and will think about maybe buying an extended warranty for next new dryer.

Had a Creda TCR2 for 1 year now, it has broken down 4 times with major faults: please buy anything other than one of these Creda's, however if you do want one you'll find loads of them down the tip including mine!

This machine is under 2 years old. We've had engineers out to fix it twice and we're appalled.
Off to the tip now it's broken for a third time....

Cannot live without my Creda TCR2 dryer. Cannot cope with "washing drying around the house". If you don't have one - go and by one.

in my opinion, the Creda TCR2 condenser dryer is a waste of your hard earned money. Ive had mine for just nine months... after the first 6 months the motor went I had to wait 4 weeks for a service engineer to come out. Then he didn't even turn up! My experience of the customer service was also horrendous. The assistant I spoke to was rude and seemed to have a couldn't be bothered attitude. Tonight after many tries at the troubleshooting guide I have come to the conclusion that the thermostat h ...
