Good Points: Absolutely none - except maybe for the looks!
Bad Points: ALL AND EVERYTHING! This is an ULTRA- cheap product, with inbuilt design flaws and a total disappointment - causing no end of frustration - which is unexpected from a company like KODAK.
General comments: I had THREE of the Kodak Easyshare Printer Dock Series 3 printers within ONE month! All of them had faults and had to be exchanged - by Comet, Kirkcaldy. The first chewed up the paper, the second chewed up the paper and then locked itself onto 'paper jam' and wouldn't release out of this state, and the third, which I had overnight (!) chewed up paper and the printhead was totally out of alignment - even when checked by the store - resulting in part printing and shadowed printing of each sheet of paper. My uncle bought the same printer from Comet in Braehead, Glasgow and he too had three exchanges before getting a refund, so it must be the printer with the fault, not the user! Kodak cut corners on price by getting the consumer to load the printhead into the printers, rather than preloading them like other manufacturers. This leaves no end to the scope for disasters! The other thing that allows them to state that each print will save you money is that the printer is set onto 'draft' quality printing from the moment it is switched on...and it doesn't get any better the higher up the quality scale you set it to...unless, of course, you are doing a photo onto photo paper...in which case it excels!
For a photo printer - this is great
If you want a printer that prints everyday stuff - avoid it like the plague!!!
It is rubbish. You get what you pay for - and this is even worse than you expect for the money! I wouldn't touch Kodak printers again with a twenty mile long bargepole! My uncle feels the same!
This printer is also the noisiest printer I have ever heard. It sounds like an aircraft taking off when it calibrates, and every time you switch it on to print anything it sounds like it's taking music lessons with a brass band!
Thrice bitten - totally fed up!
End note to this - I now own a HP Photosmart C5280 and it is like chalk and cheese - it is EXCELLENT!...and it is Soooooooooo QUIET!!!...and I no longer have to personally 'stand guard' over the printer to hand feed the paper to make sure it only takes the allotted number of pages at one time and doesn't screw everything up, paper jams or otherwise! I actually managed to go and answer the phone while it was printing stuff tonight - a luxury I had forgotten with the Kodak EPS 3!

Was bought a Kodak Easyshare Printer Dock Series 3 as a xmas pressie and have to say the camera and the dock give very good results. Aometimes i feel these 'big' companies try to make too many models in too quick a time and this is where the problems arise.a 40 pack cartridge/paper varies from £10 upwards, worth shopping around.

It's great for an emergency print but the paper and ink are far too expensive to use on a regular basis.

The Kodak Easyshare Printer Dock Series 3 is a terrible product that the company refuses to correct. If you buy this product be prepared to spend hundreds of dollars in ink/paper combination kits that do not feed properly and never give you all of your photos. Sometime you are lucky to get a couple of photos for your $50.
Worse, the company refuses to do anything about this KNOWN LEMON. They will only offer to repair the piece of rubbish.
A MONEY PIT!

I purchased the Kodak Easyshare Printer Dock series 3 because I figured it made sense to get a photo printer made by a photo company.
The bundled software is not the best available, but more importantly every photo printed so far has had at least one small area, sometimes many, where the dye did not transfer to the paper, leaving a small blotch of discoloration.
Such blotches appear randomly on any reprints of the same photo, showing an obvious problem with the quality of their dye transfer ...
