    The TaylorMade R5 golf driver is a great club, took me a while to get hold of but am now hittin effortlessly passed 300m although not always on the fairway LOL

    As with most golf clubs let the club do the work, if you hit it cleaning it will travel far with little effort!

    What a difference.
    At first with the r5 I was spraying all over, swinging too hard.
    Ball flew straight, just not down the middle.
    Slowed down and shortened my backswing and am now hitting about 80-85% of fairways.
    Slow down a little and this club will do the work!!!

    I had a slice prior to using this club which has now been corrected just by using this club, nothing more to add.just a good inexpensive club. I found the TaylorMade R5 has a high flight but this is probably due to the 10.5 loft.Should have gone for the 9 degree

    TaylorMade R5 - I am a jr. girl golfer and have been golfing since I was 5. I hadn't picked up a driver in quite a while because everytime I would try to hit with my old driver (Callaway HawkEye) all I would do is slice it. The minute I went out on the driving range with my new TaylorMade R5 (men's) driver I outdrove men in their 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's and over. It's a bit pricey at around $300-$500 but it is well worth it. This is the best club I have ever bought!!
