Good Points: None in my experience.

General comments: I have been with postmaster quite a long time. With promises of better control and spam filters I paid for the upgrade. What a mistake. I am no longer happy with Postmaster! In my opinion it has been slow, very slow, constantly offline as far as I am concerned! (Four days recently very unhappy) and spam, I have had more spam since I upgraded than any other time! After the recent four day fiasco I had 200 emails! An email to postmaster got a standard response in my opinion! I have now found another FAR superior Free web based email now. Postmaster is looking tired, unhelpful customer service as far as I am concerned and is not even worth a referral for me! Shame that Postmaster a couple of years was winning awards! Now nothing! Would I recommend Postmaster, not on your nelly! Rather recommend G Mail, GMX, Yahoo all far better and free.

Postmaster has been down since April the 25th without any warning as far as I am aware. That's the best part of 2 WEEKS. There is no way of getting in contact with anyone in my opinion? The Bibliotech website has a form you can fill in about 'any problems' that I have had no response from yet, as far as I am aware. What's worse is there is absolutely no any information on the problem, not even a 'downtime' page for the website I can find?.I've been using Postmaster for work, that's why I PAID for ...

When Postmaster was free, it suffered problems in service provision from time to time but I put up with it because it was free and I had various folders with emails that I did not want to transfer. However, now that I am paying I am not so content to put up with the poor service in my opinion. Recently, the network has been down on several occasions and when it is running, it is very slow. Additionally, after a recent shut down in service, when it was reinstated I discovered that I had over 100 ...

Poor service in my opinion, and I've only myself to blame for sticking with Postmaster.co.uk when the two free sites I use are easy, reliable, and cheaper as far as I am aware!Even saying this, if the Postmaster team had just communicated their problems to their users, perhaps some of us would stretch their patience even more. So, farewell then, Postmaster.I do not recommend this email address site.

No service for four days as far as I am concerned, and then 73 emails dating from 1 April displayed (appropriate date!) All but 7 of these had previously been deleted, so why were they still in the postmaster system? Then I found my personal folders had been deleted. No response from support team by email, and the 0901 number was answered by a different company - and they have the cheek to charge for all this! I do not recommend postmaster.

Never had any bother in the last 5 years of using this service so I paid £15 for a year (mainly because I left it to the last minute and had to pay to get access to e-mails)Since then, I've been inundated with spam despite using their tools, it seems to run slower and this latest downtime (3 days so far) is the final straw, don't bother.

It really is not worth spending £14.99 a year on such an email provider as postmaster for me. I only paid as I had been with them for a number of years and for simplicity as everyone new my email I paid. not next year. It seems the service has been going downhill for a while in my opinion and experience as I was not happy with the SPAM filters that just don't seem to work and constant unannounced downtime "for essential maintenance" for me, with no clue as to when they might resume. As o ...

I paid £14.99 to postmaster to be able to keep my address even though I had another free address from o2. The service had been fine up until that point. Now I receive around 30 spam mails a day and even though I block the subjects they still come through. And I have now been unable to log on to postmaster for 2 days as the are carrying out essential maintenance - without prior notification as far as I am concerned.

Erm, I like the name of the service, that's about it for good points. The service used to be fine - little going missing, fairly fast emails sent & rec'd, but... From what I hear gmail or hotmail are probably better... oh & FREE!

The American public is being GOUGED to mail anything. We put our faith and trust the post office for doing their job. The U.S. post office stole my package and tells me I have to wait 21 days before I can do anything. That's a very big WRONG for me. I'm filling charges against the Veradale postmaster and hold her totally responsible because of her refused to resolve and even find my package. The package was a one-of-a-kind and can't be replaced but the US Post Office. Do not recommend www.postma ...

Postmaster is Spam central- I agree with most of the other reviewers-it was only borderline value when it was free-Save the £15 and use Gmail or one of the other free ones-MUCH better.

I've been with Postmaster for over 8 years - but it's just got worse and worse, slow and major service outages. But now they want to charge £14.99, and compared to Hotmail Live or Googlemail, it has a very poor interface and support is non-existance. Why did I stay with them ? - It was the POP3 service. But we have over 10 a/c's with them which we will be moving to Hotmail Live instead.

I've been with Postmaster for a few years, but over the last year increasing numbers of mails are going missing, and mails often take over 24 hours to get delivered, never less than 2 hours, and I think I'm being kind there. It is the worst service of any kind I can think of on the web.

I had tried many different email companies before I finally felt comfortable, with Postmaster. I get no junkmail, I have been using Postmaster for all my emails for about 3 years perhaps and never really had a complaint. There have been unscheduled downtimes lasting up to (as far as I know) 24 hours quite frequently during the years but that's not bad enough to make me want to leave Postmaster for some commercial domain like Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, etc. HOWEVER, now I'm soooo angry and frustra ...

Postmaster is like an old, familiar and unreliable friend who is always trying to sell you something. It's a bit frustrating and can be inefficient, but it's been with you for so long it's hard to imagine life without it. It has never closed my account unexpectedly or anything, but the server can be unreliable, so don't sign up if you need your email desperately.

I moved my personal email address to Postmaster. mainly due to their positive web reviews. and the relative obscurity of the address i.e. spam free-ish. The spam free ideal proved to be right, however everything else has sucked the big one. For many web users, an email address is little more than a fun but transient contact point. However for those that rely on (non-work) email communication, it can mean the difference between grabbing a job or being out of work - or, more importantly, stayin ...
