Good Points: Few and far between

Bad Points: The whole Encore album

General comments: Eminem, Encore - The man who can do no wrong?!?! What an extremely poor album full of proccessed beats and follow-the-herd political beliefs. Very disappointing. It is a very lazy album. I have found a pattern with Eminem albums, as the series go on they get poorer and poorer and the people who now buy his records (which I won't be doing again) seem to be the very people he mocks other artists for being followed by. Midlle class white teenagers. How ironic can it get? From an artist who promised so much he has delivered so little. Not only that, he seems to have flooded the market with mediocre, banal, wannabe Eminems. 50 Cent for instance!?!?!? How on earth did that happen? He is like a nail bomb, on his own he was bad enough but when he blew up all his poisonous little shards have come out too. I never ever thought I would say this but Justin Timberlake, et. al., are more relevant in the music scene today than Eminem is. Come on Marshall, let's have you back to your thorn-in-a-side best and go back to making good albums for your fans who can actually think on their own.

Eminem, Encore - Cannot get into the album. I am not a huge fan of rap but I totaly respect what Eminem has been doing. I feel as if I've had enough of the same kind of stuff. However, I know a few people who absolutely love it! If you can't get enough of Em's material in the past, then go for it. If you're looking for something exciting & new, this is probibly not the album for you.

Eminem, Encore - I'm a big Eminem fan since the start, but I have mixed feelings about this album because it's not a bad album but to Eminem's standards it's below par! I was glad to see Dr. Dre take over the production side of the record, but after listening to the beats it wasn't Dre at his best (what happened to perfecting the beat?). Fans need to get used to the fact not only is Slim Shady dead but so is the passion of Eminem.

Eminem Encore - This may not Eminem's best album, but it holds up to the hype. Eminem is most lyrical on tracks like "Like Toy Soldiers" where Em explains his part old hip-hop fueds with Benzino and Ja Rule & Murda INC, and "Yellow Brick Road" where he apologizes for his past racial freestyle. The album also has a lot of hot and hype tracks such as "Encore", "Evil Deeds", and "One Shot 2 Shot". If you were looking for classic, funny, and crazy Eminem, the album has a lot of it. On tracks "A** Li ...

Eminem, Encore - Without doubt the most compelling album Eminem has ever produced, Encore is also his most confusing and amusing. On first listen you cannot help but be shocked by the monotone beats and the rambling and at times pointless lyrics. But then, when you remember the artist has always proved himself smarter than his haters, you realise that this is precisely his intention. This album is meant to showcase the new-found boredom which has engulfed his life, and the fact that he's run ou ...

Eminem, Encore - This album is garbage. I'm a die-hard fan who can see when his hero has died hard. As Paul Rosenberg said, "This album is less then nothing." Encore is horrible and if you don't believe me, listen to it for youself.

Eminem, Encore - I've been a fan of Eminem since the begining and getting more excited with new albums but this album is wack. He's lost his touch and I don't think he's gonna get it back. How did Dre let this happen?
