It was my first time in San Jose and I stayed in the Holiday Inn. It was so sterile and like every other Holiday Inn. The Hotel Don Carlos is just a couple of blocks away, and it is so much more! It has texture, history, paintings, flavour and it also has location. It's a must on any Costa Rica holiday. (read more)
