A special birthday on a Sunday, my daughter found a company that assured delivery would be on the actual day. Subsequnetly I received a text to say the present would be delivered not on the birthday, but the next day. As with other reviewers - nothing - I tracked the order to discover it was going to be redelivered - HUH! It hadn't been delivered the first time!!!! I was at work on Friday so a card was left to rearrange. I immediately went on their website and tracked my item and through their automated service I arranged to be redelivered om Monday am between 9-13. A confimation was sent to my email. On Monday I telephoned the company for a verbal comfirmation and I got it. I chose to pay £6.12 because I didnt want to wait all day. Used this service to get my passport delivered. No text/phone/email/letter/card before delivery, do they expect people to be unemployed and waiting for their delivery man at home everyday ?? So after a week of waiting I checked their online tracking service which shockingly stated that a card had been left at my address!! Like other reviewers, I too took a day off work and waited in for my passport to be delivered. They did not show up. Called the customer contact line who said it hadn't been checked back into the depot so was still "out for delivery". I now have to wait in until 1pm tomorrow in case they deign to show up. Utter disgrace for a delivery company if they can't even deliver. I bet the Passport Office use them because they're cheap - you certainly get what you pay for. I was told I will get my passport today so I canceled work and waited in my house all day long. The driver never showed up! I called DX customer services and was shocked to know that the driver said it was a failed delivery - a categorical lie! The driver must have either gone to the wrong address or not bothered delivering my passport. This courier service is one of the worst I have ever encountered. Truly dreadful company. They failed to deliver my item but then LIED about having left a card and then when they returned later, I refused the delivery. All invented, they never came to the house I complained to the retailer who resent the item Royal Mail Special Delivery. I got it the next day by Royal Mail. I recently ordered a laptop from Debenhams which was due for delivery yesterday between 8.00 and 18.00 hrs. I waited in all day until 18.30, when I had to go out on business. Your delivery company tried to deliver at 18.47, well after the contracted time. To rearrange delivery by DX by phone it seems I get charged 10p a minute! I have never had such bad service in my life and hope I never ever have call to have to use them. I have waisted 2 whole days on awaiting a collecting I have been lied to given a time slot of 900-1300 I confirmed this again on the day at 9.35 and at 12.35 I range to check again to be told it would be about 16:00. I was sent no contact email or mobile text by you. I had to get -- with much effort -- a tracking number from the UK passport service. This for return by secure delivery of supporting documents. Ordered a large item from screwfix which could only be ordered online and they chose to use DX to deliver to us. We received a total of 3 texts on 3 different days stating that this item was out for delivery between 8 am and 6pm. Waited in all day on each occasion but nothing was delivered. We ordered some goods through Wickes, and the order was split, so some of it was being delivered by DX freight. We received a text from DX at 07:48 30/08/16 to say a delivery is on its way and this gave tracking details. I spent all day waiting for a credit card to be delivered by this organisation. I work in a serviced office with a desk that can see the reception. I shopped with a company yesterday & they decided to use this service. I had an email off the company last night saying my parcel was sent with dx & it'll be with me in between 8am & 8pm today. Initially I thought it was going to be a good service. I received a pre-delivery email saying that my delivery was ON AM. From the email this said next working day. However, the tracking link on the email didn't work. The delivery did not arrive next day. I wasn't hugely bothered by this, but I just wanted to know WHEN it was going to arrive so I didn't wait in needlessly. No delivery next working day. I would like to say that I would not recommend using DX as this delivery company are totally rubbish. If you buy something and the company uses DX and please don't shop with that company. DX fail to delivery goods in a timely manner and falsified the tracking history. It took two weeks to get my parcel delivered.
