    Good Points: Everything - the most perfect hotel ever! Wonderful food, lots to entertain kids, very comfy rooms, lots of space - and secret back entrance into Legoland! Lovely staff, kids a priority, relaxed atmosphere.


    Bad Points: Don't be put off by the concrete exterior - Billund is not exactly scenic. If you buy food, being a tourist area it is expensive.


    General comments: For families I cannot recommend the Legoland Hotel in Billund enough. It is only 1/2 mile from the airport (do not attempt to walk), and is surrounded by runways! The hotel bus runs free from the airport (there is a phone on the wall). Typical Danish efficiency. Purchase Legoland tickets from hotel - we got one day free! Recommend 2 days for park, especially as Denmark can get hot. Ensure you book bed and breakfast - breakfast is a feast, has to be seen to be believed. Get there early. I booked by phone direct and had no problems.
