For families I cannot recommend the Legoland Hotel in Billund enough. It is only 1/2 mile from the airport (do not attempt to walk), and is surrounded by runways! The hotel bus runs free from the airport (there is a phone on the wall). Typical Danish efficiency. Purchase Legoland tickets from hotel - we got one day free! Recommend 2 days for park, especially as Denmark can get hot. Ensure you book bed and breakfast - breakfast is a feast, has to be seen to be believed. Get there... (read more)
