My husband and I spent nine nights at Excelsior. We could not have asked for anything better. The rooms were a little small but that is to be expected of hotels in Rio. The hotel is modern decor with lots of huge fresh flower arrangements throughout the lobby and restaurant. The hotel is very very clean. The staff was always cleaning one thing or another... They were very helpful on tours that we wanted to do even though they were not organized through the hotel. It is amazing how much you... (read more)
