I had my straightners as a Christmas present last year of my mum and dad because the last pair didnt really work well with my hair and felt like they were pulling my hair out. But the Remington CS 5002 have been working really well, leaving it straight, shiny and just glide through. They also keep my hair straight through out the whole day depending on the weather. Nothing seems too have broken or fell off but they do sometimes smell of burning. My mum and dad bought them really cheap from Argos for £9 and i think they are worth way more. I have had loads of comments of friends saying how nice my hair looks and they all ask what straightners and products i use. Hopefully this year I will be buying my friend a pair seeing as she loved them when I went over hers and is always commenting.

I got these Remington CS3000 Ceramic slim straighteners because my old ones were not doing the job, i thought these were going to be bad as they were quite a cheap price, however i was amazed !! They are excellent and get your hair really straight , i'd recommend them totally ! However they do smell like burning sometimes, even if leave them on for 10 minutes ! Do NOT put straighteners on anything that could be ruined .. could ruin it.

I've now had two pairs of these hair straighteners. Both pairs worked really well for the first few months, and made my hair straight, smooth and shiny.

However both of my pairs of straighteners have not lasted a year. They started ripping my hair, and took longer to heat up. Then I noticed that they wouldn't heat up unless I applied pressure to the wire at the base of the straighteners.

I was advised to make sure I didn't use them anymore and get them replaced because they were a fire ha ...

I just tried the Remington CS3000 Ceramic Slim Straightener for the first time and they are excellent, got them because my others I had were broken (not that they were any good anyway). I've never been able to get my hair as straight as when I have it done in the hairdressers, but with this pair there is no problem and was able to straighten my BIG hair in no time flat. I would recommend them to anyone, I will save a fortune now as I wont have to go to the hairdressers so often. :-)

I have only had the Remington CS3000 Ceramic Slim hair straightener for a few weeks because my other Remington ones broke (it was the stupid cord that had split). I hope these ones aren't the same! So far they are fabulous, and they leave my hair looking as I want it! I have quite big hair and a bit of frizz, but these straighteners do the job to straighten them all out!

I first got the Remington CS3000 Ceramic Slim hair straighteners about a year ago. They were my first ceramic plated ones, and I was so pleased with them. They made my hair unbelievably straight and mostly got rid of frizz. They also heated up quickly, especially when compared with my old straighteners! Although after about 9 months they started to go static and I got a little shock when I picked them up, then the ceramic coat started to peel away. Now after a year they have completely stop work ...

The Remington CS3000 Ceramic Slim Straightener were my first ever ceramic straighteners and they left my hair, smooth, sleek and shiny, and got me countless compliments!

However, after about a year the ceramic began to peel off the plates, so they didn't straighten as effectively.

Also, the on/off switch started playing up. It crackled disturbingly, and didn't move properly into it's on or off position anymore. This meant that if I left the straighteners plugged in (and switched off), I co ...

I had these straighteners for about a year to 18 months!!! They were very reliable, and kept my hair very Straight. After about a year the ceramic plating started to chip off, which was kind of dissapointing. I used them until they were no longer usable, and my hair did not dry up or get damaged in anyway!!! I have now opted for a more updated version of these straighteners, but if they don't work out, then I will return to my old reliable friends!!!

I bought these straighteners after being put off by the price of the GHD ones.
These ones are just as good though, they get very hot, quickly so you only have to glide through the hair once and the result lasts for ages.
Good value for money as well-only a snip at £24.99.
Have not had any problems with them at all.

When I brought these Remington CS3000 Ceramic Slim Straighteners they were really good, they did more or less exactly what my friends GHD's did. The only problem was that after having them for a while the light stopped coming on sometimes which meant that they wouldn't heat up. Now they don't work at all :(

    Remington CS3000 Ceramic Slim Straightener:
I originally wanted to buy GHD after a friend used them on my hair. The result was amazing but when I discovered how much they cost, I knew at once that I wouldn't be able to afford them (even though they are probably worth every penny). I spent weeks on the internet reading reviews about the different brands of straightners when I came across 10 GoldStars. After GHD, Remington seemed to have the highest number of reviews with very promising rating ...
