Good Points: Relatively good sensitivity but only in SP and ST mode. LP mode is virtually useless even if you are recording somebody sitting in front of you. SP and St however are not very useful either since the recording time is limited.
Bad Points: The control went out of order after 3 years of very occasional use. Very energy consuming machine. Even Duracell batteries go flat after 2 hours of recording. Not very reliable machine. Has failed me on a number of occasions. Really regret that I bought it in a first place.
General comments: Never buy a Sony ICD-BP150! Also I bought a cover plan. When the item got broken after 4 years of using it on a very occasional basis they have only returned me 1/4 of original price in vouchers. I paid more then £200 in 2003 and I got only $40 this year as a refund. Don't really know what can I buy for this money.

The Sony ICD-BP150 Dictaphone is small and digital, with no moving parts. USB-to-PC connection makes it simple with included software to convert to WAV files if needed. Also, SONY supplies a Media Player Plug-in that plays its format directly to Media Player.

Aesthetically I rate the Sony ICD-BP150 Dictaphone best in its class. Functionally, its design is rich with appropriate connectivity to utilize with a laptop or desktop PC with a minimum of difficulty.- Read lkm222's review (55 words)
