You think the price is very keen, and then they load onto you other items you haven't wanted to buy, and MP3 Downloading customer service is absent when you attempt to get a refund.

This is a scam. I wish I had read the reviews here before going to their site.

I really hated the MP3 Downloading website. It was ridiculous!

MP3 Downloading were very quick to take more money than you've stupidly signed up for. Also smells of scam, so requires you to cancel credit card, which means you get a bright new card in your wallet. You also get a $50.00 lesson on what not to do online as well as a sharp reminder that the worship of Mammon at whatever cost is alive and well.

I feel like an idiot for falling for this. The site actually told me it would only be .99 per month but my credit card bill came back to be almost $50. There was a number to call, so I called it, they told me to fill out a survey, and I would get my money back. Is this the survey? I don't know yet. I am sure I will soon find out.

Mp3downloading - WORST PROGRAM EVER!!!!

Having mistakinly purchased more than I required from Mp3downloading.com (www.mp3downloading.com), I have tried to contact via email several times but to no avail. I have not been able to use the site yet and now wish to cancel but how do I do that?

I think that Mp3downloading.com (www.mp3downloading.com) operate out of a shed in Siberia with no phone... Very efficient at taking money and not responding to emails. I think all of the positive reviews are from them...

Mp3downloading.com (www.mp3downloading.com) asks money for a product that can be obtained for free and much better. Customer Service doesn't respond, neither refunds paymants. The legibility of this firm needs investigation.

I attempted to download the software for Mp3downloading.com and I'm continuously getting error messages. The help chat line was not in operation. I could not get through any of the phone lines. I sent two cancellation emails within two days as per the website instructions. Since I did not hear anything I checked again regarding the cancellation. The response was negative. I will not get the refund. Be very careful before paying any money for this product.

I am an innocent new downloader of files from the internet and I regret using Mp3downloading.com (www.mp3downloading.com). I went to this site and saw a sign-on fee of $3.49 for the year, thinking this would be good value for someone who would only use it infrequently. Imagine my surprise when the "confirmation" of the billing process revealed they has charged me over $US60 - instead of $3.49. To top it off - there is no way to contact them - not via email and the customer service centre appears to be unopen. DO NOT USE THIS SITE.

Everything on Mp3downloading.com (www.mp3downloading.com) was a bit complicated to start with like the settings but I managed to get them sorted in the end and I am very pleased with the program. IP blocker is very handy and had no viruses so far.

I naively purchased this product, only to find out hours later that I could get a similar (and superior) product at www.shareaza.com. I requested a refund -- it took two weeks, several e-mails. The company's policy states that it reserves the right to charge any chargeback fees. Thus, I originally paid 37.95, used the product for a few minutes, and two weeks later received a refund for 28.95. Avoid this site and its affiliate site, imoviesearch.com.

Mp3downloading.com (www.mp3downloading.com) only offer links to well known applications such as LimeWire. A far cry from the promises in tech home page. And then, cancelling a subscription is fiendishly difficult - always an incdicator of a dodgy site! Getting a contact phone number is well-nigh impossible.
Avoid this site!

Mp3downloading.com www.mp3downloading.com - On my first attempt at downloading all I got was "file corrupt" messages and on my second attempt the file downloaded but then I got "runtime error" messages when I tried to install. This was back in January and, having emailed twice, I've received no replies - in fact on the second attempt my message was returned as their mailbox was full - full of complaints I guess!!

Mp3downloading.com - 1. Spoofed onto this site by accidentally typing www.kazza.com (should have been www.kazaa.com)
2. They advertise 7 day money back, risk free trial.
3. When ordering they automatically check a small box with small writing that charges an additional $14.97 for MP3 Guard software (as far as I can tell this is worthless software and is not refundable).
4. Quality was very poor. Most of the songs I've downloaded have considerable glitches (75% - not just one or two). And, several (50%) I have just not been able to download. And I have a high-speed cable connection.
5. They do not answer e-mail, they do not post their phone number (finally got it off my credit card bill), and their on-line support is never available (I tried 7-8 times and all times of the day).
6. When you do ask for a refund, you realize that it is the small writing (again), they do not refund the price of the worthless software ($14.97) and they do not refund $9.95.

I've heard great things about Kazaa. Since I thought I was getting Kazaa, I didn't read all the small print as closely as I should have. But, as this was a spoof and I was actually paying for Mp3downloading.com... I got burned.

I did cancel within the 7 days (after calling the phone number on my credit card bill), and was told I would be refunded $13.81 (of the $37 I paid). I guess this is their %100 percent, risk-free guarantee! Ridiculous!

Mp3downloading.com - I'm a SysAdmin for a large company in California. I was skeptical (and still am) about joining a P2P network. Threads to other machines are encrypted using SHA. All the negative comments in other reviews are probably due to firewall problems. I had a problem at first, but set my firewall to forward port 6346 to my downloading machine. Also had to config SHAREAZA (Etomi) to tell it to "Accept Incoming Connections." No problems downloading. I've pulled 150 songs since 12/28/04..... and still waiting to pull down a virus? Just be sure to have a good antivirus application running and a software firewall with intrusion detection.

So far.... So good!
