Personally I though this film was spectacular! You may think I'm biased when it comes to a Shane Meadows film, but this is his best by far and one of the most underated films I'v ever seen! The storyline was fantastic and Paddy Consandine was fantastic! Im not a big fan of Hollywood revenge tales, this is a special film!

This film is a violent one and may not be for sheepish characters, but
Dead Man's Shoes is one of the best films I believe I'v ever seen! The acting is very realistic and the storyline is gripping, should leave you on the edge of your seat!

Dead man's shoes is basically a revenge film but what a film and what a story.

A quick run down of the plot , Paddy Considine returns from the army with his younger brother to the small town where they grew up, while he has been away his younger brother has been taken in by a local gang ,lead by Gary Strech, and Paddy is not a happy man with what he finds out...

Dead Man's Shoes won't suit those tastes spoiled by Hollywood's slick approach to revenge tales. You won't think about a suitcase the same way after seeing this. (I won't spoil it)!
