    A Lazy Cooks Christmas by Mo Smith really appealed to me as I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to cooking and thought Christmas is as good a time as any to start... nothing like throwing yourself in at the deep end! Well the content itself is great, there's some fantastic ideas in here on how to entertain big groups of people such as Soup and Mince Pie parties, with emphasis on preparation as key.

    The only issue is that I have the paperback version which has no pictures, and while this isn't a major thing I guess it's nice to be a bit inspired by a little colour every now and again! Other than that, a great guide to preparing yummy yet easy to make food.
