These are a good solid motor. I still get the same buzz seeing mine on the driveway as i did when i saw my first one back in 98. I've had my 99' saloon for 6 years now. It has virtually sailed through every MOT. It gets me to work and back everyday,it gets me gigs around the country, it takes my family on holiday, it carries my drum kit, it fits my child seat and all other baby related paraphenalia with ease. It still goes well, i managed to pretty much eliminate the infamous flat spot by… Read Full Review

ive owned my gsi for almost half a yr now. had been after one for a long time and i hasnt disapointed. managed to get hold of a black face lift saloon (exactly what i was after). sent it to get the bodywork back to like-new, gave it a heavy duty service and it drives like a dream. it gives me 3 types of grin, looking at it parked up, driving it and being seen in it. gonna be spending a good bit of cash on it over the next few years on some SENSIBLE modifications, lightweight flywheel, bigger… Read Full Review

Had my msd vectra Gsi 2yrs now was standard when i bought it(194bhp),since have added pipercross viper full cold air induction, enlarged throttle body,4 bar fuel pressure reg, it has losted that inoying flatspot at 3000rpm and acceleration has improved by at least 50%.
ive done a 0-60 in 6.8sec and recon its top speed is over 150mph so for a car that was bought of Ebay for £800 its not a bad buy, plan to get better down pipes and remap to get around 235bhp very happy with it!!!… Read Full Review
