It gets me to work and back everyday,it gets me gigs around the country, it takes my family on holiday, it carries my drum kit, it fits my child seat and all other baby related paraphenalia with ease. If you can find a good genuine Vauxhall Vectra 2.5 V6 24v with less then 90,000 miles on the clock then go ahead and treat yourself! Just make sure the oil on the dip stick is clean ie. (no white gunk) and the engine isn't knocking, gear box isn't making a noise as your driving along and the general body work is OK ie. (not body filled) check this by tapping along the wheel arches and wings listening for a change in sound! You don't want to be spending money on a car that's been in an accident… Read Full Review

I have had a 2000 2.5 hatch since new - it's the first new car that I have ever had and I had high expectations.
With the exception of the "Rob Peter to pay Paul."
"Tuned" V6, the car has been excellent. But at the end of the day, it was chosen for performance and simply doesn't deliver. My Sierra XR4I of many moons ago (2.8 OHV dinosaur) would eat the twin cam 24V Vectra for breakfast.
