The Gsi vectra is a cruise motor you can get to the power if you need it! it is a proper engine no turbo no vtec just a pure 2.5 v6 note which can't be copied with a silly exhaust of a big turbo the note of a v6 is hard to beat.

Had my msd vectra Gsi 2yrs now was standard when i bought it(194bhp),since have added pipercross viper full cold air induction, enlarged throttle body,4 bar fuel pressure reg, it has losted that inoying flatspot at 3000rpm and acceleration has improved by at least 50%.
ive done a 0-60 in 6.8sec and recon its top speed is over 150mph so for a car that was bought of Ebay for £800 its not a bad buy, plan to get better down pipes and remap to get around 235bhp very happy with it!!!

Owned a GSI Vectra for about 1 month now.
It looks and sounds awesome, but there are loads of replicas kicking about.
Brilliant car if you can keep up with the juice it eats.

I dont know what it is though, but I just cant help feeling bored with it already, something is missing.

Cant fault the Vauxhall Vectra GSI 2.5 V6 24V in all departments , have the 99 spec black saloon in showroon spec ,Looks great ,engine is a smooth v6 with plenty of grunt .28.5 mpg is the average on computer but have had 38 on a 500 mile round trip.

Vauxhall Vectra GSI has good style handling very good a comfy , i have found mine to be reliable and fuel insufficient
as a gsi owner the car its self is tip top if looked after properly they can look good and perform well when needed as there isnt that many about so if you have got one look after it and it will look after you.

I've had 3 of these now they are great and people don't know what to make of them really I have spent a little on my gsi msd now I have had the 3.2 v6 out the new shape gsi put back in had the fly wheel changed larger throttle body bigger in takes an had it chipped up.
I really like the gsi looks awsome and can pick up a bargain for not much money loads of fun to have with them 2.

Incredible fun and highly underated, induction kit, stainless exhaust and lightend flywheel remove flatspots, eco-tek valve helps fueling and make sure you use optimax with this setup my msd gsi NO.151 runs 228bhp with this and 271ibft of torque. Loads of fun.

Stunning looking, we all like the recarro's and the sound is Amazing it is quiet when you want it be but roars when you put the peddle to the metal, the best thing is if you have an estate and open it up boy racers always look surprised. The stereo looks standard but it is far from standard with a Blaupunkt 6cd multichanger, The fuel consumption is not bad if you consider 25mpg good after all it is 2.5l V6 24valve so what do you expect!
All in all this 2.5 v6 24valve GSI MSD is a good car especi ...

Funny people saying that these can beat subarus, you must be having a laugh. They will beat Saxo VTR's etc but you need to have a cold air kit fitted to get rid of the blackspots in accleration for it to beat most cars 0 - 60. Not exactly Eco-Tec it drinks fuel like no tommrow when u put ure foot down.

Constantly rewarding to drive, quiet when you want quiet, and as raucus as you can handle when you put your foot down. Suggest stainless exhaust and induction kit to release a few more ponies. Well built hard wearing interior, recaro as standard. Driven properly will please like no other performance saloon. who needs an m3 when you've got the big daddy vaux. enjoy, i did.

Had my Vauxhall Vectra gsi for about 2 years now, think its great, not in the same league as the Mitsubishi Evo or Subaru but then its not meant to be, saving up for the lightend flywheel tho heard its meant to transform them.

I had the Vauxhall Vectra for 3 years and it was the best driving experience I've had. Overtaking was excellent, the flat spot was cured by putting super unleaded in it. It is a great family car but also has the look and the speed to put most young so-called boy racers standing. Can't fault it, its just a shame that petrol prices etc forced me to sell it.

In general this is an amazing car for owners who have had a basic Vauxhall Vectra, (like me) as soon as I got into it and started it up I knew this was going to be fun, I own the msd version now and it makes a huge differance again on the gsi 10 out of 10.

I have had 2 Vauxhall Vectra GSi saloons, 2 GSi estates and 1 GSi hatchback - all brilliant.
    I have also had a Saxo VTR, and a VTS. I have had 3 RS Turbo's, 1 scooby RA, Mondeo ST24, 2 Golf GTi's (2.0l), 2 GSi Astra's - 1 old style and 1 new style.
Whilst all these were great, in my honest opinion the GSi/s best - well no hang on the Scoob was but that was expensive to maintain (crank, fuel, tyres!), but the GSi's are good fun and very comfortable. they wont set the road alight but they motor on ...

Hi all I just bought a Vauxhall Vectra gls 2.5 v6 for £300 with 83000 miles I think I got a bargain. The timing seems to be out a litle bit but apart from that is wicked do you reckon I should get it serviced.

I've had my Vauxhall Vectra gsi 5 yrs and have had no end of fun, best car i've owned to date (36 yrs of driving), a few minor layouts eg, cambelt, belt and tensioner. Brill, black with tints looks stunning.
    A good one still turn's head's.

Just read this and know it ' s out of date but yes the v6gsi is a nice looking car and fairly quick for a family car however I own a Scooby which is currently running around 350bhp and I would bet my life even a 295 bhp Vectra would be in my rear view mirror!
Its great to defend your cars guys but be realistic and remember most evo's/scoobys are modified in some way (that ' s improving the vehicle performance for you Saxo owners not a big exhaust)
however my Scooby fits 4 easily has a decent boo ...

I have a 2.5 v6 sri and would just like to say if you want a car for racing its not this one.
If you want a cheap 5 door that goes well and looks OK then this is the car for you (if you can afford the fuel cost).
Oh and if you keep racing it say goodbye to your coil pack.
