Good Points: None.
Bad Points: Email service always going wrong for me, and internet service constantly being disconnected. Despite having a drop-down option in your account area to cancel your account, when you try to do this, the option won't work for me, instead telling me to ring the 60p a minute helpline.
General comments: I do not recommend breathe.com provider. Also, just remember that if you wish to cancel your account from them, and you are told to ring the 60p a minute phone line, rather than cancel online, DON'T! There is nothing in the contract saying that you have to pay to leave them, which is what you are doing by being forced to ring their extortionate phone line. Just cancel your debit/credit card if you need to, and get a new one.

I've been offline for 4 days now, with no explanation from Breathe.
The customer helpline is an 0901 number at 60p per minute, and my telephone won't dial 0901 numbers..!!
Useless broadband service. Avoid at all costs.

Customer services have been unhelpful I've been trying to close my account for 3 months, they still take out my money as far as I am
In my opinion they have not yet contacted me and leaving me to phone there premium rate phone, found it hard to talk to customer service.

I became a customer of Breathe, not by choice, but as far as I am aware because they bought up my old ISP. For many years I'd had a 'no problems' internet experience with appleonline, who became macunlimited. Breathe changed that. They lost my stored emails (deciding to 'upgrade' the system with no forewarning, no advice to back up), I have never managed to access my webspace since they took over ...and they just are not interested in helping in my opinion.I do not recommend www.breathe.com. ...

A simple call to a technician would sort the problem quickly or indeed an address to write to but to be requested to go to a website when the whole lot is down is not helpful. We went for years with 'ecosse' without any problems and could telephone a very helpful and knowledgeable staff if and when things went a little astray!

The outlook express fails for months at a time, with no explanation as far as I am aware. The Web mail now ceases to function as well as outlook express. If Breathe cannot provide an efficient service they will not be my internet broadband provider anymore.I have moved to another provider now and do not recommend www.breathe.com.

Never go with ISP's who don't advertise a free technical support line/email. The guys on their phone lines are quite polite and friendly but have clearly no idea what is going on "behind the scenes". The status reports on their website usually say "no problems" even when you can't get into them! Having said that, they are very poor on customer service.

I am glad I am not the only one with these problems.
About 2 weeks ago, for a period of about 3 weeks, their service kept going down at about 8/8.30pm at night and often would not come back till the morning. Only at the end of this period did they acknowledge anything was wrong at all!
Now, having signed for their 2Mbps service, I find I have an average download speed of 300kbps. A BT engineer who was checking my line for problems said they "had heard of them" and that in my case they we ...

Our email went down at the end of March and is still down. We changed email addresses to a professional company from Breathe. They unilaterally changed our email addresses and did not tell us or even redirect any messages. Their helplines are rarely manned and when they do answer a pre planned script is read out. Do not go anywhere near this company.

Breathe is so poor it can hardly be called a service. It has been on and offine for the past two months, once for a period of four weeks with no explanation and a customer service number which was hardly ever answered probably because the poor staff manning the lines seemed to have no idea of when service would be resumed or why there was no service. Most of my email from this period has been lost, presumably erased. It is now once again out of service with no explanation and I am taking very ...

I stayed with Breathe when they promised a competitive broadband service and improved reliability. Their broadband offer is poor - slow speeds at high prices compared with other ISPs. They offer up to 1Mb for £14.99 a month. For this price you can get up to 8Mb with most other ISPs.
Breathe does not provide its own service but uses Spider Networks. They don't seem to have any control over their service.

Breathe are trying to reinvent themselves. Too late for this ex customer. They have continued to take my money after I expressed a wish to terminate my contract - it's now 8 days since I requested a MIGRATION CODE - they disconnected my broadband connection without notice and whilst I was still fully paid up on my account.
I would urge that this company be given the widest berth possible. Their offshore call-centre, whilst polite and courteous, are totally inept, promising much and delivering ...

I would not consider recommending Breathe www.breathe.com Internet services to anyone. I am in process of commencing legal action against them for not providing an internet service for the last 4 weeks for my business. They have made no attempt whatsoever to try to resolve the problem. they just leave you hanging on to their 60 pence per minute helpline for what seems hours.

Breathe took my money very quickly, and then ignored their commitment to me.
Also, try an ISP with a UK based call centre where the agents don't give the impression that they are reading, parrot-fashion, from pre-prepared scripts. You are faced with a barrage of 'Level 1' agents at their Indian Call Centre, who repeat the same diatribe in every call that you make.
