    Good Points: Fairly straight forward website, order delivered correctly and on time with helpful service. Sturdy TV shelving with plenty of room for videos, DVDs and CDs.

    Bad Points: Didn't have my preferred colour (Black) available for delivery!!! It's all from the same warehouse, how can that be? So had to opt for white.

    General comments: I've avoided the Swedish oversized Tardis for as long as I can remember. Something about a furniture company that only sold items you built yourself always struck me as half a service (without the expected price reduction). However, I was on the look out for a bookshelf-ish TV solution and Ikea was the only place that had one so I decided to bite the bullet and order on line. Two guys delivered it on time in the morning and moved the three MASSIVE boxes up three flights of stairs. Also they were quite cheery, which always helps. Instructions were in the universal language of pictures, which took a while to decode as I kept putting the planks the wrong way round and then having to undue a bit and start again. Surprisingly, the chipboard was way heavier than normal wood and was really sturdy. It looks a treat now and I have loads of space to put all the extra DVD, Cable etc boxes. Not sure I'd rush back but I'd certainly consider them again.

    Went to Ikea for furniture after Argos let me down by delaying my expected order without informing me. Excellent service. I was kept informed every step of the way. I was told I would be first delivery and by 7.20 am everything had arrived. The driver had even called en route to say he was 20 mins away. None of that waiting in all day wondering when - or even IF - the delivery would arrive.

    With all the hype in Plano, Texas, my wife and I made the journey through the big blue box (Ikea) on the prairie. Well, we could not make our way out fast enough. We felt like we were in furniture hell. I would not give you a plug nickel for anything in the store. It felt like I was in a super-charged Dollar Store.
