I purchase a new vacuum cleaner from Currys Branch 2308 on 7-5-13 and the best shopping experience I have ever had in a Currys store probably the best in any electrical store I have visited. I was served by a very pleasant, polite and efficient young lady who is a big asset to Currys. Pity there aren't more staff like her in retail across the board. (read more)

i visited the store and bought my mac and was served by jason, he was lovely. i had to come back for the team in knowhow to install office for me, they told me that jason had provided the wrong office packet to us and they would have to do a refund, it took two hours, in the end i had to go for a cup of tea in morrisons, so they couldn't refund and so they did another product for me, which ended in me having office, they werent best pleased but still they did it saying the store would have... At the Kings Lynn branch my wife and I upon entering were not Pounced upon but allowed plenty of time to evaluate all on display, which was extensive ie models that were wired up to show how various settings worked. I went in Currys Worksop on Bank holiday Monday. I wanted some advice on the product I was buying. The store was really quiet and although the it was quiet there were 3 guts stood there watching telli and didn't offer to come to me. I reserved a laptop which my daughter had been saving up for some considerable time, when I went to the store to pay and pick it up, I was told they could not find the item even though it showed it was in stock. Having purchased a lap top last year experienced no issue's with it until it was time for my Norton review since I didn't want Norton I went to PC world for new virus protection. I purchased Mcafee total took it home uninstalled Norton installed Mcafee. Big mistake completely froze my pc. I went into Currys at Riverside, Northampton.I was in a hurry so went straight to customer services to ask if they sold the shampoo for the vax shampooer. I was told in a most abrupt manner to go and look on the shelf if I wanted to purchase the product. I have never been spoken to in such a rude manner. We visited the store to buy a washer/dryer. After a sucessful purchase we browsed around the store. I was looking a Samsung Note and playing with it. A young man (Daryl) sked if we wanted assistance. He talked us through the device and what my requirements were. After a play and a demonstration I purchased it. The salesman was knowledgeable, not pushie. After purchasing Barnes&Nook Screen Protector the assistant kindly made enquiries as I am 77yrs old if some one could fit 1 for me. I was advised by a senior member of staff that there would be a minimum charge of £15.00 which I respectfully declined, the assistant seemed embarrassed by the senior member of staff's attitude over such a simple request.
