    Good Points: Everything

    General comments: They served me well. Good price and good delivery.

    The transaction with Robertsons Online was made on 21/08/2003.
    I ordered the TV, and I was told delivery would be 1 week. 7 days later the goods were delivered on the day I was told.

    Ordered washing machine for my sons new house on 14th September 2005.

    Found Robertsons-Online from a comparative web-site. Although not the cheapest they claimed to have the goods in-stock.

    Money taken immediately from my credit card.

    A few days later a letter arrived from Electrolux saying that the machine was now in stock and setting delivery for the 28th September.

    I ordered a Plasma TV from Robertons online domestic appliance shop attracted by price (I should have been suspicious that they had the cheapest prices!!!) I waited one week for delivery confirmation, then they said it would take another two weeks to deliver, then when I call they said that "sorry another 3 to 4 weeks for delivery".     Unbelievable, that Robertsons Online is allowed to trade. I ordered a Samsung plasma from them 1 month ago. At first they were out of stock and made no contact to update me. When they finally got it they attempted to deliver it but 1st the driver didn't have time, 2nd day the driver didn't realise we still wanted it and 3rd day they didn't bother sending it. All this time I had paid for the TV and received no apology from "Robbersons". SHOCKING!

    I ordered a Zanussi Fridge freezer on the 28th July, with the promise of a 7 day delivery. I heard nothing (not even a confirmation email), so I called them 5 days later, to be told that 'The Zanussi system is down', and delivery will be 10-14 days. I waited until the 9th of August, and still no communication! So I spoke to Zanussi, who had the item in stock, but had not had any communication from Robertsons!!     They offer a very low price and free delivery for items they do not hold in stock.

    Then, when you place your order, they IMMEDIATELY debit your Credit/Debit card, and proceed to fob you off with vague ,anticipated, ever extending delivery dates from the supplier, when you try and expedite the order.

    As for getting your money back when you cancel the order, for continued non delivery - I was told it would take 7 days to process the refund, and then 3 more days for the bank to clear it! Hmm ...

    Robertsons Online advised a delivery date between 07:00 & 19:00. Nothing arrived. Manufacturers say this date could not have been given & they only do am or pm deliveries not all day. 2 new dates agreed & goods eventually delivered on third date. Messages to their address in accordance with their terms & conditions remain unanswered

    I ordered a condensor dryer from Robertsons Online (www.robertsons-online.co.uk) at the start of April and received an email back the next day stating that the item was not in stock. It also said that I could cancel the order but the issue was with the supplier so other companies would suffer the same delays. I thought fine, I will chase up in 7-10 days.     I ordered a Cannon oven from Robertsons Online (www.robertsons-online.co.uk) on Saturday afternoon and I have just received delivery. I was initially nervous about ordering such a large item over the internet but I had no need to worry. I have saved over £100 and not had to pay any horrendous delivery charge. For those who have complained of unhelpful sales assistants (which I didn't experience), when was the last time you ventured into Curry's or any other similar high street store?

    I ordered a Zanussi Combi oven and a Zanussi single oven from Robertsons Online by telephone. The ordering process went smoothly.

    On delivery, the single oven was severely damaged. However, because I did not check it within 7 days of receiving it (they never informed me that I had to) they are unable to replace it.

    They have £360 of my money and I do not have a working oven.

    Avoid them.

    I ordered my AEG LL1600 washing machine on Monday 22 November by telephone and received it on Wednesday 24 November - very fast!

    I decided to use Robertsons as they had pretty good reviews, the best price and the machine I wanted was in stock. There are some bad reviews for them on the internet (a minority of the reviews) that seem to focus on after-sales service so I have knowingly taken the risk that my AEG machine will not let me down!

    Robertsons Online - After my problems with 24-7 Electrical [see review] I decided to cut fresh and go for a different company.

    Robertsons online were the ones I went for, and how glad I was.
