Good Points: I was in a group of four 18 year old girls when we stayed at Maria Marie Studios at the end of June. We just wanted a relaxing holiday not necessarily a holiday to be constantly drinking... and relaxing is exactly what we got. The rooms were so clean and the maids even washed our plates and glasses for us!! Our day consisted of waking up and putting our towels on the sun loungers while we had some breakfast and then we layed by the pool having an occasional swim or bobbing about on lilo's that were available to use! Then we would go to The Green Frog opposite for some lunch. This place was great... lots of choice for lunch and great value for money! Then we would go back to the pool or swim in the sea until about 6 o clock when we would get ready to go out for a meal at night... again great value for money, I don't think I spent more than 10 euros on a meal... and another thing, lots of places gave you free bottles of wine just for going there or 10% off, but if you bargain with them you might get both!! We did!! We always started our nights with a cocktail in The Green Frog then wandered into the centre for food.

Bad Points: Although there were so many good things about the holiday there were also some bad things as well.
Firstly, I think the weather was unusually hot when we were there 45 degrees on some days.. not that I'm complaining about that!! But in that heat air conditioning in the rooms was definitely necessary or maybe even fans provided free of charge because at night your room just got so hot there was no chance of a good nights sleep. My friend and I would wake up in the middle of the night and have to have a shower because we were literally dripping with sweat! NOT NICE!! Also, because of how hot it was the bed sheets could have been changed more often because after a couple of nights my bed felt clammy and unfresh. Another bad point about the room would be that the bathroom needs some attention in my opinion... especially the shower!! Every time I had a shower I completely flooded the bathroom because water went EVERYWHERE!! Apart from that I couldn't fault the apartments.
A downside to the holiday was that some of the people who worked at the restaurants were quite pushy to try and make you eat there. One waiter even put basil leaves down my friends top and she was made to feel quite uncomfortable by him.

General comments: Overall an excellent holiday in an excellent place. The Maria Mare Studios just need air con then it would be amazing!!

We had an exceptional family holiday. The hotel is situated in an exceptional, quiet location, however still very close to everything within the resort!
What makes it truly outstanding is the friendliness of the owner, his lovely wife and three daughters who provide a service that can not be bettered. They personally maintains what must be the cleanest pool in the Mediterranean!
Imagine yourself lazily moving from sun bed to the pool, and then for a change, a few steps further down to the beach ...

Lovely to have a small, quiet family run place in lovely Argassi. The Green Frog is great, as are all their staff. Looking forward to going back.

Well see above. This is the best holiday we have ever had in the nicest hotel. The staff were so friendly and pleasant. It didn't matter that there was no food etc on site. The Green Frog opposite was ok but if you are after Greek food go to Granada or Zorba's in the centre.
If you want to go in the sea buy some aqua shoes as getting in is really painful on the feet but once in it is great.
We can't wait to go back and are missing it already!

Aragissi itself was wonderful and I would recommend the green frog restaurant right opposite! Lovely friendly, family run! There was no evening entertainment but your right along the strip of restaurants and bars so plenty to do. It was nice and quite as you didn't hear the noise from the town. Lots of places to eat and drink without having to get a taxi into zante town (which isn't great anyway) best holiday ever we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely go back again!!!
