    Don't be put off by some of the bad reviews, we had two great holidays at the Admiral Apartments it is basic but good value for money and everyone was friendly and helpfull, our last visit was 2006 though so things may have changed. my children had some of there best holidays there :)

    The Admiral apartment we were given was awful. It was old, dingy and shabby, with a grotty loo and grotty kitchen, 2 camp beds and a double bed. Seating area was just the 2 deck chairs and table on the balcony. We had a kettle but it kept cutting in and out and so it never worked for us. The cleaners did come most days and left fresh towels. We saw our holiday rep on the first day at the meeting, and once more, in the distance in the airport when we were leaving to go home! (Very professional). ...

    Please dont be put of by some of the comments. I have just returned from Admiral Apts. Before i went I got really worried by them. O.k so some of them are valid some are not. As regular travellers to greece, we have stayed in many places, some good some bad. This one is mid range. If you are going self catering its fine. The rooms are very basic and could do with a modenising. But I must stress they were clean. so was the pool. There was also entertainment ever night. And although you are close ...

    Argassi, Admiral Apartments is a horrible place. Rooms tiny and very hot. the whole complex is geared towards the Polish people. Was there on an all inclusive basis and the food was discusting. Same stuff every day, it had just been re-heated over and over again. Same salads served at lunch time and dinner, but by dinner they were all watery and soggy.     I had such a great holiday there at the Admiral Apartments in June this year and I'm going back again next summer for definite. Booking as soon as January comes along!

    We were given a studio across the road from the main admiral apartments which was terrible the woodwork was rotten it looked like it had been eaten the kitchen cupboard was the same. Half the lights didn't work the bathroom 1 kept flickering on and off. Room very small and basic. I was there for 2 weeks and my bathroom sink was never cleaned. Beds and towels changed twice a week. Overall the room looked like a prison cell.

    Going back this august and I cant wait. Close to nightclubs and disco bars, we had the best room in the whole apartments looking over the pool. Brilliant. Pool was gorgeous, music played by the pool all day. They have pool tables if you want to play on them. Lots of young people. Cant wait for the sun and the nightclubs. Roll on August.
    I'm giving it a 9 out of ten.

    Basic but good clean apartments. Cleaned regularly to a very high standard. As it is a small complex you have to be prepared to join in to make the most of your holiday. Sit back and watch is not an option or you will be bored rigid.

    Local restaurants service and food poor. Oh, and very pushy with passers-by, trying to get you to eat in their restaurant, bars included

    There are no decent beaches, so we had to go to Silavi for the beach.

    The shop workers in Argassi, Zakynthos were sour faced and unwelcoming.

    It was noisy at night in the Admiral Apartments from drunks leaving the bar area, which was open all night (a bit like Blackpool). The noise from the Disco and PA system in the bar all evening. There were some r ...

    Everything at the Admiral Apartments in Zakynthos was great. Nothing else you could wish for.

    There was entertainment all day long. There are plenty of supermarkets, so you won't run short of food - not that you'll need that much food as there are plenty of restaurants.

    Many people have different opinions, but my opinion is that this has been one of the best experiences of my life, and it won't be long before I go back again.
