    We stayed at the letsos in the middle of september and thought it was really nice ,beds were changed twice a week towels every other day and if you asked the cleaner for towels in between she gladly gave them us,ok the air con was a little pricey 100 euros for two weeks but the price we paid for the holiday was good so we did nt mind.family run place ,we found everyone friendly pool and bar recently refurbished and lovely and clean.Self catering tools were scarce but we ate out at many of the resurants in alakanas which were reasonably priced about 20 euros for a meal for two and a drink.the train trip is a must up the mountains to a museum which was quaint ,then on to a resurant to a wine tasting for a free glass or two of local wine very strong !!Went on a trip to the shipwreck and blue caves really nice the sea is so so blue.We are returning next august as we enjoyed it so much the people are so friendly we loved it .Remember your going to greece so it is a bit behind the times so what do people expect i really cant believe what some people write,we loved it.

    The Lestos Hotel Apart has to be the best hotel I have ever stayed in, and yes some of you may say im exagerating but it was most definatly a memberable experience! The room was lovely, the only problem was that the walls were rather thin, so it could get loud at night with the drunken punters, the cleaner changed the sheets every other day and the view of the mountains were amazing.     The hotel letsos is not fit for a dog, i,ll explain the first day was a nightmare. had no room ready for me & my family, not at all friendly. finally give us keys for room in old block. i,m an electrician and not seen anything so dangerous cables lights fuseboard had no cover exposed live cables for my daughters to touch this was a nightmare. we had other problems windows not locking were my daughters were staying. i was getting a bit angry at this time, i confronted the manager. the airconditi ...

    When we arrived at the Hotel Letsos they didn't know we were coming, didn't know we were self catering and didn't have a room ready for us. The same applied to other people we arrived with. We were told air conditioning would be 100 euros.
    We didn't have a fridge that worked for the first three days. We reported it each day on the third day the proprietor became very aggressive and started telling us we were lying, that we hadn't reported it earlier.

    Hotel Lestos looked lovely on arrival but unfortunately thats where it ended. Booked a refurbished self catering studio, but ended up in a dirty smelly un refurnished studio, no cutlery, pots or cooking facilities, etc fridge didn't work. No hot water. Dirty, outdated studios, no self catering facilities as advertised, smell of drains, no hot water. Very ignorant reception! Beware if you get put in the block near the swimming pool!     I have been to many Greek islands and love them all for varying reasons.
    The resort was great, beach close by, but Hotel Letsos was not great. I tried to make the best of it throughout my 2 weeks on my own. The pool is great, & I did have a three bed room just for me. Sheets not changed very often...had to ask for a repleacement set. Only one towel for 6 days and had to ask for more. Tried the food @ the hotel and wasn't impressed with it. Overall..OK if you're not too fussy. Location great, bar ...

    We have just returned from hols at Hotel Letsos and after reading comments before we left was greatly releived to find a refurbished clean apartment. location was lovely and the resort was perfect for us with our two children.

    On the whole, great value for money, ideal location near town and beach. The hotel apparently is just being refurbished and they have just done the whole of the ground floor, our room was on the ground floor. The pool and poolside bar was excellent as was the food. Based on my experience, I couldn't fault anything and I am looking to go back next year

    Very poor quality accommodation probably about 20 years out of date. Problems not rectified despite requesting with owners and rep. These apartments are bad. Cleaners very poor although did attend most days sheets only changed on day 11 and thick layers of dirt lay under the bed and around the edges of the room. In contrast the pool is lovely and has plenty of sunbeds and the resort and lovely beach very close by.

    Excellent holiday, hotel was great the family running it were really friendly, the pool was good and the bar was great, food really good too, rooms were clean with plenty of space, definitely go there again.

    Having spent many years going to Greece you may expect basic. But if you go to the Letsos you will get something you may have expected back in the 70's, no hot water, then no cold water and the rooms are tired and dirty. Do not even bother to think you can self cater, the equipment is non existent, not even a kettle. Great location, could be a very good hotel - buts it's not.

    Although there were many niggley problems at Hotel Letsos, after chatting with the management, these were usually dealt with. The family running this hotel were certainly friendly enough.
    The resort it self was very quiet, and certainly suited to families. The beach is lovely and only a short walk from the hotel. Water sports are in abundance on the beach, and there are many places to book excursions. Be prepared to barter though.

    Had a fab holiday. Bar good, rooms clean. Family fantasic. We go back every year we would not go any where else. 7 weeks to go and we will be back loads of us. PARTY PARTY !!!!!!!

    Overall we thought the standard of accommodation was very poor and think that Kosmar ought to get out of The Letsos Hotel as quickly as possible.

    If you do not wish to read my essay below, -though it will make your mind up if pondering to stay at Hotel Letsos in Alykanas- then take my advice of not staying here.

    After visiting Greece for a good number of years, I have not come to expect to stay in luxury. I find that all you need accommodation for is sleeping and showering, but this time I was totally disappointed.     Very disappointed with the accommodation. Although the outside areas, pool and poolbar were clean and inviting, the room allocated to us on arrival was awful. Stains on the pillowcases, dirty and worn thin sheets, hair all over the floor, filthy toilet, filthy shower, filthy fridge, a mixture of plastic and metal cutlery, a TV with no remote and the manual buttons missing, plaster missing from the join between the ceiling and a bed light, which was hanging off the wall.     Rooms at Hotel Letsos in Alykansas, Zakynthos were allocated on arrival. Because you have to pay £35 per week for air conditioning, you couldn't have a room with air con if you are not prepared to pay for it. Our room was tiny. The bathroom was 3ft by 3ft, and you could have a shower whilst sitting on the loo or using the sink.     We arrived at the terrible Hotel Letsos, Alykanas, to be offered a room which was not even ready for us. It was filthy - banana skins on the floor and all sorts. We went to complain and the lady told us we were 'causing her problems' by not accepting the room. I dont know how she had the nerve. Eventually we were given another room.     We stayed at the Hotel Letsos in Zakynthos last year. It was a very big hotel, and all the staff were extremely friendly. We do have our down sides of the hotel though. The fridge was very smelly, and it smelt like egg as you opened the dodgy door that had a crack through it. The swimming pool had no grout in the tiles, so the edges of the tiles were very sharp, and I cut my toe open and couldn't stop it bleeding. Also, in the wardrobes were huge crickets that wouldn't shut up.
