Bought one year ago and have had endless problems, including suspension, leaking boot and flooded passenger footwell, wheel bearings wearing quickly, parts are expensive and hard to come by (here in Ireland, although not much better in uk either) latest problem was with flywheel - cost '1500 inc labour. So have had to scrap the car as this is about the current price of one that works! When it did work it was comfortable but very bad on fuel, approx 18mpg on average but less when in traffic and when not on the motorway.
general view is that this car is underpowered and unreliable. What do they say... fix or repair daliy! This is true with the cougar! Dont Buy one - you will regret it.
