Good Points: The overall holiday was good. The food was ok, but we had a few dodgy meals. Don't get the burgers there unless you want to spend a lot of time on the toilet (they had that affect on me anyway). It wasn't as cheap as I had heard, although pints were just under £1 in most places, vodka redbulls were at least £3.

General comments: DO NOT STAY AT THE AZURRO HOTEL. Overall it was good, cheap and good weather. However the hotel was terrible. We only read reviews after we'd booked it, most of them said it was cheap, the cleaners didn't clean or change towels the whole week, and a few said they got charged for 'misssing towels' which wasn't true. They mostly said the food was bad which is also true (although we only got up in time for breakfast once or twice). Sure enough when we left they charged us 40 levs for 2 missing towels which we had purposely kept an eye on after reading the other reviews. We argued for nearly an hour saying we weren't paying it but then our coach came to take us to the airport and the security guard wouldn't let us go so we had to pay it.

Sunny beach is a great resort for fake designer goods and value for money. It is very cheap to eat out. The aqua park is not too big, and it is situated within a very poor area of Sunny Beach. It is not uncommon to see begging children with prams late at night. Sunny Beach is very lively, with music from 5am until 3am the next day.

I would go back to Sunny Beach, but I would upgrade to a 4 star hotel next time.

All in all the Azurro was good for the money we paid, and hasn't put us off BG so can't be all bad. The rooms were basic and clean, and had a nice balcony with fly net, so could be left open. The staff were friendly enough. We went B&B which was okay, as too cheap to eat in.
We enjoyed our stay and will definately go back to Sunny Beach next year, wouldn't mind if it was at the Azurro again, but fancy trying somewhere different.
