Purely for hosting, I've had pretty decent experiences with Easyspace in the past, so it was with this in mind that I paid them to build my company's new, bespoke website - huge mistake.

I did all the design work myself as theirs was useless, and simple things were done poorly and required endless phone calls and emails to correct. For example, my designer didn't even seem to appreciate the basic concept of aliging things properly (contrary to my design mock-ups which were precise and clear).

The direct phone line is rarely answered and messages left via the main number are almost never returned. Emails are either ignored completely or take at least 3 days to be answered (usually more like a week, if at all).

Original verbal agreements were later reneged upon and we were discarded before we'd agreed that the project was finished.

In short, do not use Easyspace Design.

Easy Space are very slow to respond to queries; they hang up when you are talking to them and they are not very helpful. Some people depend on their online presence but they don't care, they just want the money. Bad customer service and not helpful at all. Avoid!! Save your money and go elsewhere.

Easyspace used to be a great business but they have gone from bad to worse over the last couple of years. As an example, 3 months after transferring a domain and its associated DNS, a DIG on Easyspaces servers revealed that they still hold CONFLICTING MX record information dating back to before the transfer. Despite being faced with the evidence of bouncing emails form other easyspace customers and screenshots of the DIG checks they continue to refuse to do anything. It takes legal action to ...

Some 2 weeks ago my Web sites went down hosted by Easy space, I could not upload or look at my sites or any Easyspace site (including UFINDUS) to report a fault. I noted this on a Friday late PM and despite looking up all phone numbers for the company and its new owner was not able to contact anyone. Monday came and after having to ring three separate numbers I was able to talk to someone that was prepared to look at it. I was informed at first that no one had reported any faults, a situation th ...

Ok, so I am in to cheap budget hosting. I then put basically the same stuff on different domains. When you are trying to come high in the search engine charts with the word "wedding" then you need to pull every trick out of the hat.

So what can I say? about Easy Space I spotted their ads online. I read where they were based (Glasgow), I looked at what they offered and dived in. To my amazement I had my new domain registered in my name and my site online the same afternoon. To be quite honest ...

I think that EasySpace Web hosting are a good company.

Up until recently, they did not have customer service lines which was a negative point, as it meant that if you had a problem or question, you had to raise it via their web based ticketing system. This took time, and meant that you did not get an instant reply, like when you can phone some one. However, in another way, I was impressed that EasySpace did not have phone lines, as it meant that there must not be many people, meaning that t ...

I recently signed up for the Easyspace Gold Package. I didn't get everything in the package!! I didn't get Raw Log Files, and I haven't managed to get a CGI script working properly, nor have I managed to get more than 1 POP3 Mailbox. The Email Support Help desk is not much help either.

I've been with Easyspace for just over 12 months. I wished I had found this website before parting with hard earned cash, because Easyspace (or is it Empty Space?) have to be worse than a bunch of thieving Pikeys. They promised me top notch web stats - I never got any. Now I have had no email for two weeks because of some 'problem' with a 3rd party provider of new .net domains. Forget the fact that Easyspace have a legal contract to provide me with a service I have paid them for, instead of ...

Easyspace (www.easyspace.com) have been taken over by Iomart. Before the take over the service was so so but Iomart have agressively sold its new service "Ufindus" to customers coupled with gateway websites. The cost of this service is high at around £400 plus. The ufindus service is sold as an insurance of being included in the first one or two search listing on Google (of whatever item/subject your domain offers/specialises in).

Frome my experience, these claims are false and the gat ...

Total rubbish. It is 5 weeks since I ordered an SSL certificate for my domain and it is still not working. They told me that they had generated a certificate and that it was resolved, but when I tried to connect to my website, for the next week it said virtual server error. When I asked for a refund, they said that the company policy was not to offer refunds. How am I supposed to run a business like this? I should charge them for loss of business.

They are very keen to upgrade your services (and therefore charges) yet service is non existant, tech support does not respond, I just hope they don't cock up me moving four domains and websites from them.

Control panel is useless into the bargain.

I'm furious with Easyspace - so I'm moving all my sites away ASAP. In the past week I've found that 4 domains which I'd registered and paid for via easyspace are not in fact registered to me: 1 is in someone else's hands and 3 are (were) unregistered.
They've acted illegally by charging me and not providing the product/service!
This comes on top of previous experiences with their awful new 'control panel' - a serious backward move on their old system, and the slowest, rudest, least helpful, ...

I started using Easyspace more than 5 yrs ago when they were good value and most services (web forwarding etc)were free
Gradually charges were introduced, then escalated for any and all of these services.
I got my domains out - thankfully.
They now charge £45.00 "Administration Fee" just for transferring away from them.
I still receive invoices from them - although I have not had a Domain Name registered with them for more than a year.

Where can I start with Easyspace www.easyspace.com?

Easyspace 'lost' my web pages. When they finally returned several days later this was the reply I (eventually) got from customer service. Note the absence of any apology.

"The domain was moved from our old server to our new ones over the weekend. However, the IP addresses assigned were incorrect which caused the Web site to disappear. This procedure in unlikely to take place again for quite sometime."

This was the last straw (I've had ...

The sooner Easyspace (www.easyspace.com) go bankrupt the better - because bankrupt they certainly will be with this shower running it.

Yes once upon a time they were very good. But now they are shockingly bad! I went on the internet to check my website today. And discovered that instead of my website there was a note from Easyspace claiming I hadn't renewed the services, so it had elapsed! Yet I had received NO renewal notice from Easyspace in recent months. Further to that, when I logged into the infuriatingly terrible "control panel" to rectify this, I found that my domain name was now no longer mine! I have emails to prove t ...

I signed up with Easyspace (www.easyspace.com) about 3 months ago for an Unlimited User package and I must say the whole process has been a breath of fresh air. I would recommend them to anyone.

Easyspace have been fairly rum recently - they had a few outages and upgrades which broke things for our websites. Overall though - since the bad period.. :) - things have started to get better and I think I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel :)

I've had upgrade requests for various accounts with Easyspace/Iomart and they've managed to activate new hosting within 24 hours and when I asked them to move the files over (500mb site!) they did it all for me without a qualm. Saved me an ev ...

You now have to pay Easyspace (www.easyspace.com) £49.00 excluding VAT to move even a .co.uk away from them. (Previously this cost only related to .com's)

Also they have changed their servers which means that things like forums which worked for years no longer work. (And they did not inform anyone of the issues).
