IIC Internet is by far the worst company I have ever done business with. I hosted with them for several years and they had terrible customer service and their technical support had no idea what they were doing when I attempted to implement a javascript database. Plus their uptime wasn't great and when a virus knocked out the files on their server, they didn't even have them backed up so they could restore my web site. I switched to 1&1 Internet a few years ago, but unfortunately still had some domains purchased through Iic Internet. I renewed one domain through Iic and they took my money but never bothered to actually renew it through their domain reseller Tucows. So, without warning, my web site was taken down and replaced with a porn site. I repeatedly emailed 1&1 about this and called...but they don't answer their emails or their phone...you are put on hold for an hour and then get their answering machine...which of course they don't respond to...I only got this resolved after a month of sending tons of emails and waiting on hold for hours when I threatened a lawsuit...apparently the only thing that will get their customer service to respond to a simple request is to threaten a lawsuit. Now I am, of course, trying to get my other domains away from Iic as soon as possible. But it took me three months to get an authorization code from Iic to transfer one domain (still don't have the other two). Of course, that domain has expired and my site is now down. Avoid this company At All Costs!

2 times in the last 2 weeks IIC Internet's internet connection entirely disappeared and all my servers at their location were inaccessible. This lasted for several hours and during that time I was unable to contact them at all to find out what was going on. Very annoying when trying to communicate to your customer about why their websites are down.

IIC Internet has my four hosting accounts. I have always been billed correctly and have always been able to contact them both online and e-mail for any help at all.

My cousin passed away 2 years ago and My aunt asked me to cancel the account months ago.

I have emailed them several times, and no one ever reply to me. So I decided to post to FORUM, and Steve from iicinternet appear immediately once (less then 1 day), asking me to direct e-mail to him. I tried twice but I never get any single reply from him. Now, he totally disappeared from the FORUM it seems, leaving customers complaining at webhostingtalk.com.

They still keep charging the money to my Aunt' ...

I have been with iic internet for a few years now and have had good results until lately. I have been down for over 2 WEEKS and have got no response after numerous emails and daily phone calls.

I've had IIC for several months now and I'm not sure exactly what to think. Overall they have been unhelpful with customer service... they dont respond to emails and they have two responses when you call "It'll be done within half an hour" or "we're making changes to the server right now that will fix the problem a little later today" neither of which seems to be true in my opinion.Ok... so why am I still attempting to upload to their servers... here's the catch 22: They haven't charged me yet. ...

I found IIC Internet to have terrible customer service. I found them very rude. They gave me terrible support. They also have very slow connections. My account repeatedly stalls before the page comes up. They are very unresponsive. Go to anybody else, but not them.

I waited for over 2 days for a reply from IIC Internet, after signing up for new service. There web site says "a few hours...". They installed a beta version of the software I ordered; probably for the installers lack of understanding. They did not install the customizations that they agreed to do, nor did they correct any problems. They simply cancelled my account as I was too demanding (because I did not want a beta I wanted the stable release, and had already lost days), and it was clear that ...

I chose IIC Internet 2 years ago, no problems at all apart from a recent performance problem.
I considered switching but kept in mind that similar problems can creep up with other companies to. When I shopped around found all sorts of problems with other suppliers to consider, ie blocked ports, strict content allowance, bandwith all of which are not a problem with this company.
The performance issue on my server has now been resolved quite quickly and its working perfectly, excellent repsonse ...
