Great bass - only 2 things that are minor problems - the scratch plate is lovely but the edges are a bit rough and also the jazz pickup is quiet, but the sound is very accurate, great low tones and harmonics. My other bass is a pre ernie musicman stingray and this bass compliments it well - easy to play and great for slap and pop. I have the metallic blue and it's quite dark compared to the official Fender pic. (read more)

The Fender Precision Special is an awesome Bass. Bridge screws were not staying in place. A little nail polish fixed that however, great tone and playability. (read more)

Fender Precision Special - i would not recomend to beginners because it is expensive but anything higher BUY IT. It is used by the pros and no wonder why. (read more)

Ordered a maple f/board but got rosewood when it arrived - very pleased none the less. Fantastic sustain. Plenty of variation in tone. Good solid feel to it and better balance than other fFender basses I've tried. Good to play but not quite as easy as my RBX270. Small crack in finish developed at neck socket after 1 week so has gone back. 2nd time lucky with the maple neck! Got mine with 20% discount so thought price fair.
