what's wrong with some of the reviews. I am Italian born and you will not find any place in town to come to close to this place. It is a great place with great food and service.
Take my word, I am a world traveler and you won't find any better. Segafredo espresso, Bindi cakes, hommade gelato & and awesome pizza!
wine prices that you can not even match at grocery stores! I am regular fan and eat here at least 4 or 5 times a week.

There were six of us and we all loved the food...we have tried to replicate at least two of the dishes. We cannot speak highly enough of the service, food and atmosphere. If you are interested we tried a beautiful Risotto dish (and I am a harsh critic of risotto...must be perfect) and it was. A Carbonnara dish ....also excellent....etc etc
Also dessert.....Yum! Need I go on. Price point...ON

At Cafe Uno I experienced seemingly indifferent service from staff, food very poor (a long hair around a prawn, salad which was brown and limp) when order was taken a list of things that they had run out of was listed, like ciabatta, cheese for pizza and vanilla ice cream! These are basic ingredients.

Left with the feeling of disappointment and poor value for money. Will not be going back!

not the sort of place you go if you want to impress - I think it survives because of its location and its outside seating area - Overall not a great experience - needs to employ friendly staff

Thought Cafe Uno was a coffee shop so was surprised when my friend suggested it for dinner. I was really surprised the food was tastier than other more famous nearby restaurants, and the service was real friendly. We go there all the time now and have even signed up for a loyalty card.

I have been to the Caffe Uno in Hornchurch lots of times. The atmosphere is great, music is lovely, food is excellent, service is very fast and friendly.. I've already recommended it to my friends and they love it! I'm going to have a dinner there tonight again..

My wife and I have been on holiday for a week and as we had not gone away, we have made a point of eating out, trying a different restaurant every evening. This evening at Cafe Uno was our eighth meal of the holiday and earned the distinction of being the only source of any dissatisfaction, the only restaurant where I refused to leave my usual generous gratuity and the only restaurant where I left still feeling hungry!! One of the dishes sent back was my wife's dessert. We asked the waitress if ...

My two friends arrived early at Cafe Uno in Hornchurch, and were quietly but quite emphatically told off for moving from a table in the sun to one in the shade. It can lead to confusion when billing apparently.

A drink specifically ordered without ice came with ice. A main course was wrong and was sent back. Panna cotta was ordered without the Rossini curl. It arrived with the biscuit, but without the raspberry coulis. I was then given Panna cotta without the biscuit and without the coulis. T ...

The Cafe Uno in central Glasgow has a good location but in my opinion the service is appalling and the staff extremely rude. Not only did it take a while to be seated, but even after the food arrived - it took considerable time for us to receive any cutlery to eat with! Furthermore, they forgot to give us the bill after we had asked and when I asked again. I would've understood if it was busy - however they had at least 4 or more staff for not a very large restaurant which wasn't particularly ...

I have dined in many Cafe Uno's and I have to say although my experiences are generally very good the Hornchurch branch has something special wonderful staff matched by its food, wine and great feel. A restaurant its owners can be really proud of.

After a wonderful stroll in Walpole Park, I went with my three young children, husband and sister to Ealing's Cafe Uno. We are from Lymington (which has a fairly good Cafe Uno with attentive staff and a great chef - so we thought we'd go to a 'tried and tested' place we knew of well - well at least the Lymington one is !) ALAS !! we were to be very disappointed. The waitress who blatantly behaved premenstrual and had a miserable mood about her could not have served us any slower - keeping in min ...

Caffe Uno - Notting Hill Gate

One of the worst eating out experiences I've had for years.

The service was absolutely chaotic - not really the fault of the staff who seem to have had no training at all. We complained to the manager but he was totally ineffectual - didn't apologise and never came back to see if we were all right. We kept having to ask for forks or knives or napkins - and ended up finally fetching our own wine because it took so long in coming. After we'd reminded the waitres ...
