Good Points: Lethal even without perfect shots. Audible "plop" sound when hitting fur-bearers.
Bad Points: Low ballistic co-efficient.
General comments: Beeman Crow Magnum Pellet .25: I've used .22 and .25 Crow magnum pellets extensively in RWS 48 and Beeman R-1 (Laser). Both are around 21-22 ft-lbs. While the .22 has about 5 yards more range and for me a kill ratio of about 75%, the .25 is deadly nearly every time--due mostly to the larger wound channel which means an imperfect shot is still very effective.

Beeman Crow Magnum Pellet .25 is a great pellet as launched from my Beeman Kodiak. Very accurate and hard hitting. Its faults are a function of its caliber. Needs a high powered air rifle to do justice to the "expansion cup", relatively difficult to locate sometimes, and relatively expensive (versus any of the more common .177 and .22 fodder). These are all relatively minor points if you have already decided to go with a .25 caliber air rifle.
