This was our second stay in this hotel, and we had a great time once again. There are always lots of sunbeds available at the pool or on the beach. The rooms are spacious and spotless. We travelled with our sons age 10 and 14, and we had 2 rooms with interconnecting doors as requested. As returning guests we were invited to a Managers cocktail party one evening, and we were given t-shirts and souvenirs, which was a nice touch. My husband, two daughters and myself have just returned from Iberostar, Costa Dorada and have had a really lovely holiday. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. This is a lovely looking hotel with pools containing turtles in reception and pink flamingos which went down well with the kids. Also peacocks walking around. The food in the main dining room we thought was superb and plenty of choice at every meal time. The three a la carte restaurants were OK but we found them to be over... (read more)

I went to Iberostar Costa Dorado as a surprise march break present. I was with my mom and dad and my sister. We have never been on a vacation before so I didn't really know what to expect but I loved every minute of it and felt homesick after returning back to Canada.

Iberostar Costa Dorado is by far the very best hotel all inclusive I have been to. Anything you could wish for is available...drinks included cocktails and champers and shots, food included everything from Lobster to pizza. Staff could not have been better. We were very sorry to leave and will go back time after time. Do not hesitate in going to this hotel you will love it ! (read more)

Me and my wife spent Christmas here at Iberostar Costa Dorado even though the weather was mixed (5 days rain in 14) we had a fabulous time. It is one of the best hotels we have been to. The staff are so good, always smiling, food is exceptional with so much choice and high quality, the shows were very high quality with so much work going into them, the drinks were good with named brands if you ask, the grounds lovely and well kept, the room (1215) clean and with a lovely sea view.... Iberostar Costa Dorado -The rooms were decorated beautifully, every was perfect, the bed was huge, the room was cleaned daily and the fridge was stocked daily. The hotel itself was huge, clean, and bright. All staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much of a problem for them. The food was out of this world. If you did find yourself getting bored of the main buffet food (which i find hard to believe) there were 3 speciality resteraunts (Caribbean, Brazilian and Mexican) which... (read more)

That was a total mistake on my part and I don't know how to change it! I was in the middle of a night shift when I wrote it and I must have pressed the wrong button. I would highly recommend this Hotel, it was the best honeymoon/holiday ever.

Thanks for clearing that up. We are considering this for our next holiday and have only heard good things so far. If you have any idea what the facilities are like for a child of nine years it would be very helpful if you could post comments although I understand you were on honeymoon. Thanks

Children were kept highly entertained by the animation team and the entertainment in the evening was suitable for both adults and children. Thye could eat, swim & play all day until their hearts content. My husband and I would definately take the children there.

myself and partner,have heard great stories about this hotel,wondering if anybody has had the pleasure of getting married at this resort,if so did everything go to plan,and was it all you hoped it would be!! we love to here your comments on this as we are looking into getting married there next yr.

Fantastic resort! We stayed in September 2002 (hurricane season!!!) for one week and had a lovely time. The resort itself really is beautiful from the pink flamingos to the fantastic pool and huge queen size beds. Weather was lovely, the beach as people have said is not white sands but is really nice for sunbathing as you get a nice breeze from the Atlantic ocean and subathing at the pool area is extremely hot, so much so we rarely sat at the pool.
