Good Points: Located near arguably the best stretch of coastline in the world; spacious and stylish accommodation; friendly service; nice restaurant

Bad Points: Nothing bad about the place.

General comments: A 5 minute taxi or 10 minute ox-ride from the jetty or helipad, each of the Paradise Flycatcher bungalows offer a pair of spacious twin ensuite rooms off a shared open plan lounge/kitchen area with a verandah. (These best suit two couples or a family of four). Self-catering is possible, but nearby is their own restaurant with a nice atmosphere and good service. This area of La Digue is quiet and a small beach is within a minute walk. Within 15 minutes you can walk through the Reunion Estate with is swaying coconut palms, past the Seychelles tortoises, to Anse Source L'Argent, arguably the best beach in the world, with its highly sculptured primaeval rocks and deserted coves. La Digue is one of the accepted top 50 places to visit before you die, and in my mind #1. I spent a long time choosing where to stay before our once in a lifetime holiday and I was pleased with the result. The only things that could have improved our stay would have been better protection from mosquitoes at night, slightly easier transits, and possibly air-conditioning rather than ceiling fans (**check current situation**). You may also find cheaper on the Island but it may also be inland, less peaceful, and less grand. After all, you will have paid plenty to fly here; why cheapskate on the lodgings?
