The straightener itself was fine however after being sold on the fact that it has a lifetime warranty only to find out that they will not honor the warranty past 1year was quite maddening. I spent a substantial amount of money for this product knowing that any manufacturers defects would be covered. I kept my box and receipt safely tucked away for 3 years for no reason. Will NOT be buying Corioliss again! (read more)

I was pressured into buying this flat iron. Before this. I had a flat iron that was cheap and lasted longer than this new one. They told me warranty is covered up to 1 year, this will last a long time, it works great! The plate started separating from the base as now I can no longer use it. It is less than 3 years old. I wouldn't even give these products a single star if there was a lesser choice. Pushy sales people talked me into buying both the straightener,and the curler at Helensvale Q'Land.They curled my hair but the curles almost immediately fell out when arriving home.The straightener burnt my hair,but when I complained about the products they refuseds to give a refund and were very rude.Don't buy either of these. I have had this hair straightener for 4 years until it finally gave in...you might be thinking gosh only 4 years but I used it every single day. It went through some pretty tough times (dropping it, leaving it in makeup) but it still worked perfectly. It left my hair shining and it even straightened my hair when it was damp. All my friends loved it and even though it's a bit pricy it's worth every cent!!! (read more)

I bought my corioliss at Chadstone shopping centre in Melbourne. Basically it cost over $200 and all it does is create these ugly shirley temple curls. The sales assistant promised it would do all sorts of styles - and yet all I can get are these tight curls that last about an hour before they drop into an even uglier crimp look. At the same time corioliss kept pushing this clip in hair feather for $15. I bought one only to find the Reject Shop were selling them for $4, half an hour... (read more)

I love my chi! It works so well, and I had it for about 5 years before it burned out and had to get another one! I know you are thinking only five years? but I used it everyday! Totally got my money's work, straitens every piece of hair, and keeps it srtait all day. (read more)

Complete waste of money. The sales people rip you off and when you speakto head office they ignore your telephone calls. They make it look so easy in the store but when you get it home it doesn't work. (read more)

Terrible, just terrible! Felt like I was damaging my hair on each pass, even with heat protectant. I wish I had gone for the Karmin G3 salon pro instead of this trash! The setting on this Corioliss leave a lot to be desired and the results are just mediocre. (read more)

I like this product. My sister bought this product for me since i told her that i needed a hair straightener, even IF my hair is straight. But it wasn't the straight to the point that I want it to be. Another reason was also because i had a new hair style that required me to have it styled a certain way. I have naturally curly hair and live in south Texas. I bought mine at a mall. Pretty pricy but I talked him down and got gell and soaps for free. I have had it over 3 years-- It got a chip on the edge-(I dropped it) so I went out to get an emergency replacement for just in case. Got a Chi and took it straight back. I would not recommend anyone purchase the Corioliss ProFix hair straightener.
It is a far inferior product to those of us that have GHD's.Corioliss ProFix has none of the same features of a GHD e.g. no alerts to tell you its ready to go, no automatic turn off if you've left it on.Corioliss ProFix for curls is not too bad but very disappointing when it comes to straightening. After a couple of hours hair is back to frizz. Don't ever purchase Corioliss ProFix from a kiosk in a large shopping...

I bought my Corioliss C2 over 4 years ago and it is still going strong. I have used GHD's before and they dont even come close to my Corioliss. I have not had any technical issues and they always do a great job. I HIGHLY reccommend this product to anyone. Even people with difficult hari types as a friend of mine bought the same product at the same time and we have 2 completely different types of hair. Works great for both of us. :) VERY HAPPY! I have owned these hair straighteners for around 6 months. They were one of the worst accessories i have ever brought. They are definitely not as good as a GHD hair straighter.
They take a LONG time to straighten my hair (medium length) and it does not stay straight all day. With in an hour it needs to be touched up.
I feel i have been mislead and the company does not want to here about any of it. I DO NOT advice ANYBODY to buy this product.

I'm totally in love with my corrioliss irons, they are BRILLIANT!!! I've owned GHD, but gave them to my cousin when I got my Corrioliss. I feel happy using them regularly, because they don't dry my hair out. I create the most beautiful curls that last all day, where as the GHD would drop out within a couple of hours. Great product and easy to use. I've been using it for about 6 month on a regular basis. The result is a great and undamaged hair. good value for money as I stopped going to the hair dresser for blow dry. Corioliss straighteners are good in that they do straighten hair but they break easily. I had one and the plates chipped, and some residue kept them from performing at their full potential after a few months even though i never straightened with any product in my hair. If you're looking to buy one though, never buy one from a kiosk. They rip you off (online prices are MUCH cheaper even with shipping fees) and its non refundable. Go there to try one but dont give into their sales pressure. (read more)

My purchase turned out a disaster in less than three months.i contacted corioliss and they are not very interested in providing me a good quality service. They asked me a proof of purchase along to send back with the product. Ridiculous isnt it!
Having there product is not enough proof that i purchased it. This is so weird... I am so dissapointed. They claim more than what they are.
Bad quality .... Bad service too.

i bought coriolis C2 Titanium for Sterling pounds 140/- at Selfridges in London and now after 3 months it stopped working and i am devastated. i live in U.A.E. and dnt know what to do , thought i contacted them thru email last nite, hvent heard a response yet.
Not to forget they marketed as a super wow product. it worked well for 3months and doesnt heat up anymore.

Corioliss Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners are great stylers. the only reason i rated the value for money so low is because i dont believe any straightener should be so expensive. but it does get the job done and provides enough heat to make your hair straight, beautiful, and shiny. plus the colors are awesome!!! mine is in blue but you can even get it in zebra print. it costs more thought. once again thats where i think the downside is the price. I've had them for a few years but I don't use them all the time and at that price they should have lasted far longer. I have had curly hair that I have had trouble straightening my entire life. Corioliss professional are the 1st straighting iron that has ever worked that leaves my hair looking smooth and still has some volume. I highly recommend this product to anyone. I have super straight hair it gives it more volume and it can give me really great curls unlike most straighteners that give fake looking curls and my hair wont hold. I find the Corioliss Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners far better than GHDs. My hair doesn't look poker straight as it did when I used the GHD and I have perfected the more natural wave ala Cheryl Cole's hair. I think the hair is in much better condition as well. I am pretty happy about the one year warranty, since I'm on my fourth gold SXE in six months. The mall kiosk has been very good about replacing them, but the continuous trips back to exchange them have been a hassle, and I wasn't especially pleased to learn that there were no refunds - just exchanges. When the warranty runs out, my husband, who is handy with electrical items, is confident that he can eliminate the on/off switch entirely - thus fixing the only problem that I've had. (read more)

I just got it, and it's really good at straightening, I still have to get used to the curling technique though. My friend who bought it a month ago recommended it saying it's wonderful, and I agree :)
Heats up fast, doesn't damage hair unlike some other irons.

I bought it from Eaton Centre mall in Toronto to gift it to my wife back in India. When I went to India and gave it to her she'd opened it with much anticipation and it didn't heat up properly. A couple of days later when she tried it was not heating at all. I felt really bad. I'm back in Canada for a few days but this time my wife has strictly told me not to buy anything from Canada again. I had my first Corioliss Professional Ceramic Hair Straighteners for almost two years and I actually messed them up by leaving the cord near the plates and it burned through the cord and guess what? I like the fact that it doesn't damage the hair as much as the GHD and others even though it doesn't last as long my hair is in better condition.
It all goes down to what's the most important to you, lasting results or better hair condition, I prefer the Corioliss.
