    No plot.

And the noise makes you want to cry.

The child dieing is completely not needed, and I really cant fully like The Grudge or hate it due to its lack of story line.

I watched The Grudge in my room at night with all the lights off. Scary movies such as this one can only be watched with all the lights up and the volume/bass cranked up. I have to say, I was startled at moments because of loud noises but hardly any of the images frightened me. I was very disapointed with this movie it had hardly any plot, no character devolopment whatsoever, cheesy images. I was very disapointed and I feel no need to ever watch it again.

Sarah Michelle Gellar - This remake of the original Ju-On series in Japan was really eerie and left me freaked for days. This one is poorly acted and is pretty much exactly the same as the original except it's not as scary. I think they chose the wrong people to potray a really disturbing story and it was way too short for my liking. It was quite freaky at some bits but I wouldn't watch it more than a couple of times at the most.

The Grudge - Shimizu made his name in Japan with the original Ju-On series that this movie is based on. Ju-On is a classic horror movie with bucketloads of atmosphere and tension and left me with the creeps for weeks after.

The Grudge is very poor, some of the better elements of the original have been removed, the pace of the movie is all wrong, the characters leave you feeling like you don't care. The ending leaves it wide open for a sequel that no one would realy like to see.

The Grudge - This may be the most disappointed I have ever been in a movie. About 10 minutes into the film, my family and I were laughing and predicting every turn in the plot before it happened. The 'scary creatures' include a young teenage girl who makes a strange sound and crawls around on the floor. When this 'creature' attacks people... they simply vanish cheaply. The other 'creature' is a small boy who meows like a cat, over, and over, and over again. The plot is the most repetitive I have ...

The Grudge - THE MOST SCARIEST FILM I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE !
Oh my goodness, it was sooo scary! I normally can watch horrors but that's put me off for life, and it was only a 15!! What would an 18 be like?! I sat there like 3/4 of the way through covering my eyes, it was horrible!! But at the end of the day I guess the filmmakers must have done their job well, because I had nightmares afterwards! It was soooo scary though! So if you like that kind of thing, I'd recommend it, otherwise I'd s ...

The Grudge - It was empty, there was no ending, no middle even, a very vague storyline. The scary evil thing looked like a puppet that should have been on Rosie and Jim. It made me jump once and made me laugh sarcastically at scary bits every other time. It was absolutely rubbish. Don't waste good money going to see this poor film.
