Good Points: Famous faces - Jude Law, Sienna Miller
Bad Points: Ending leaves you saying "What??Is THAT the END??"
General comments: Alfie is overall a good film.
Alfie, a Londoner who moved to New York for the girls, spends the first part of the film sleeping with women and then fobbing them off and dumping them. You want to hate him. Of course he ends up falling in love and wondering "is this what life is about?"
The film has its funny moments and its twists, but the ending is unfinished and too disappointing which really brings down this film's overall score, particularly as it does such a good job at drawing you into the story and making you hope for a particular ending.
Hope this hasn't given anything away!!
