The Goonies is by far my all time favourite film!
It tells the story of Mickey and his friends (the Goonies). Mickey and his family have to move, as their house is being knocked down as they cannot afford to buy the land, so before he has to move they go on one last adventure. After recovering a treasure map from his attic they decide to go in search of the legendary pirate one-eyed Willies treasure!
However, the treasure map takes them to an abandoned restaurant where the prison escapees the Fratelli's are squatting! After the Fratelli's discover what the children are in search of, it becomes a race for the treasure. Through One-eyed Willies many booby traps and tests along the way, The Goonies are faced with many challenges, but together Sloth, Chunk, Mickey, Brandon and Co must save the day!
This is an action packed film from beginning to end, with some really inventive traps and the best pirate ship...ever!!
A must see for children and adults alike.
