Not enough live footage of that very enagmatic, engaging, georgeouse steve wright introducing the performers. Miss top of the pops one and two,to tell wrighty that he is not allowed to talk on totp2 is just absurd. Good clean cut fun and entertainment. (read more)

I watched Top Of The Pops from the beginning and I have to say I'm really sad it had to go! I mean, where else would you get a show dedicated to live performances of the best and most popular in British pop music? There's far too many shows on now with just pop videos, or ones that are on far too late with all these new fangled styles of music and bands I've never even heard of and it just isn't the same! Top Of The Pops had it all; good old fashioned pop music at its best. (read more)
