My Complaint To ITV:
After seeing the last few of your pro gramme I feel I had to email in as I can't believe how you can get away with saying its done in 60 minutes. I am appalled at the poor workmanship carried out - not through the fault of the workers but the time scale set (yes i know thats the idea of the show). The amount of paint left on the ceilings after the rooms are 'finished,' in particular the Alresford show where the blinds in the kids room didn't fit the window and the blind on ...

This is "reality TV" at its very worst. Anyone who believes that even one room, let alone three or four, can effectively and properly be redecorated in one hour needs a reality check!! Look closely when the 60 minutes are up - bubbly wallpaper, paint edges not finished and, in one recent program, a piece of wall behind a radiator that was still in the original colour. This is pure television fantasy that might work on a TV or film set but has no place in people's homes.A truly dreadful program. ...

i think 60 Minute Makeover is brilliant. It has me glued to the TV, it also gives viewers ideas to make your own house over and gives you that push to do your own.

Probably the most significant waste of british television viewers time...60 second makeover tries to hide the fact its low budget program by redesigning homes of 'mates' of the shows presenter. The designers that participate in this show have the skills of orangutan let loose with a dulux mixing kit! The only reason why this show exist is to massage the ego of a B/C listed celebrity whose past it. Very very dissapointed.

60 Minute Makeover - I think the idea of the show is very good, on the whole the rooms are done with taste and there's only been the odd occasion when I've not liked the finished result. I'd be interested to know how the actual decor lasts as the furniture must be put back in the room while paint is still wet! The amount of money spent on these people's houses surprises me....no wonder they look better afterwards!!!
