I am fascinated by what they can do in 60 minutes. If I could I would bring them to my house to bright it up.

I love 60 minute make over and presenter is perfect as the host, easy to watch and listen to without being too shmaltsy, and has some intelligent comments to make, BUT, recently the decor has been generally AWFUL, quite sickening, and I wonder what are those designers thinking, if that was done to my house I would be FUMING, and I wonder just how honest the homeowners are with their big smiles and praise, and have they been told that part of the deal is to pretend they like it, and will they imm ...

60 Minute Makeover is the rock bottom of day time tv. A bunch of "designers" make over a house in 60 minutes, you can imagine the quality of the work when it's finished.

60 Minute Makeover is a great show - my favourite. The designers are good - great ideas and excellent results and I love their different styles. But what is Claire Sweeney all about - I think she feels incompetent because she is not the star of the show - which belongs to the designers and the makers of the 60minute make over show! Great show otherwise - my absolute favourite!

Well, I like the way they complicate the challenges in the amount of time. They put a lot of effort into it. I have no bad points because they do perfect and the people love it when they're finished with the house.

I like the way every one works as a team to get every thing do. Some of the designs are fab. Howeever, sometimes i can see ways that they could have improved the use of space.

But all said they do actually complete the job in one hour, first they clear the house, and then the clock starts. After half hour they stop for an hour and half to let the paint dry, and then they finish off for the next half hour.

Yes, very rushed but you can fix the rubbish skirting boards and bad plaster walls that already exist in your house, a lot cheaper than buying all the furnishings you get from doing this, i.e. £600 on one single light fitting on average, so say no more.

    A ...

60 Minute makeover have recently done our house. They did a fantastic job. My wife's mother surprised her (Iwas in on it!), the staff and crew were fantastic with us and my mother in law (who was very poorly with cancer at the time).

The only thing wrong is a cupboard door in our kitchen has fallen off - as they fitted new doors onto the old carcasses - but as they spent 1000s on our house (the granite worktop in the kitchen was 1000s on it's own), I think we can forgive them! They gave us a ...

    My Complaint To ITV:
After seeing the last few of your pro gramme I feel I had to email in as I can't believe how you can get away with saying its done in 60 minutes. I am appalled at the poor workmanship carried out - not through the fault of the workers but the time scale set (yes i know thats the idea of the show). The amount of paint left on the ceilings after the rooms are 'finished,' in particular the Alresford show where the blinds in the kids room didn't fit the window and the blind on ...

This is "reality TV" at its very worst. Anyone who believes that even one room, let alone three or four, can effectively and properly be redecorated in one hour needs a reality check!! Look closely when the 60 minutes are up - bubbly wallpaper, paint edges not finished and, in one recent program, a piece of wall behind a radiator that was still in the original colour. This is pure television fantasy that might work on a TV or film set but has no place in people's homes.A truly dreadful program. ...
