“DISHONEST!!!!!!”

I booked a ticket through Opodo! Half of the ticket's money went through and the other half was declined, with more than enough money in my account! I phoned them up immediately to ensure the other half go through. They told me they had to book a whole new ticket that would be more expensive. “NEVER EVER AGAIN, ”

We booked flights with Opodo to Australia as we had been invited to a very close friends daughters wedding. Very very sadly our close friend had a massive heart attack and died 10 days ago. First of all, my issue has STILL not been taken care of. What is ridiculous is, when I first called (four days ago) I was told they would call me back WITHIN 24 hours. I get NO CALL BACK. I booked flights with Opodo: London-Istanbul-Dubai-London At no point during the reservation process, nor in my confirmation emails, I was made aware that this was non-refundable. “Check your baggage booking”

I have booked return flights for myself and family to Lanzarote. Required 3 of the 4 passengers to have 20kg check in baggage. Opodo booked on the return journey but not the outbound. I've had to pay a further £122 booking fees with Thomas Cook Airlines so we have check in baggage on the outbound flight. I contacted Opodo following the receipt of the booking confirmation and they refused to believe it was their website at error. It was apparently my fault. “Take money and refuse to acknowledge fault”

Opodo booking system is faulty, it gives you a message to say payment is not processed wth no confirmation then still proceeds to take money from your account and they refuse to refund for their error. “Terrible ”

I will never use them again. Had a bad experience once before but was prepared to give them a second chance, now I wish I hadn't. Trying to change the inbound flight I was kept holding for 15 minutes before being answered by a person who then proceeded to do a lot of keyboard tapping and then asked if I would be put on hold - big mistake, he never came back to me and after a further 45 minutes of holding I put the handset down and rang the airline direct. “Disappointing!”

I was trying to change my flights over the phone which was a nightmare. Each time I managed to get through to someone, I was put on hold and eventually disconnected (about 30 times). I am dreading to receive my phone bill as I was calling from abroad. Eventually I managed to speak to someone but the connection was terrible and full of background noises, which made even more difficult to understand the person on the phone with a strong foreign accent. “Forgot to book my tickets”

Don't book with Opodo. They send me a confirmation email but when I did my check in the company told me that the tickets wasn't book by Opodo. I had to pay for another tickets and full price... I then called the customer service and told me that they actually never confirmed my booking and that I had to call them to confirm it. I did receive the confirmation and the payment of the ticket... I too just booked a ticket. they proceeded to take money from my account (more than the actual ticket price) and did not send me a confirmation. I called the airline and they said they do not have any information on my flight at all. I am immediately calling my bank and disputing this transaction!! terrible company!

“Never book with Opodo can give unrecognise reference...”

Once you are a victim then one will certainly wake up from a dreadful dream. They don't refund my tax after unrecognised reference left with no boarding pass the airline email me a refund but 16 months Opodo still does not credit my bank card, they provided me the unrecognised refrence again that left me stranded two days at the airport. l was sick and cancelled my flight the airline refund my tax according to company policy but Opodo fibs here and there nearly 2 years not receiving my money… Read Full Review

“Disgrace, will never use Opodo again”

I have been shocked at the appalling customer service that Opodo have delivered. First when I made the booking in January, they double charged the service fee. It was so painful trying to deal with the call centre that I gave up and swallowed the cost, but was angry. To go from a minor error to a huge issue, my fellow passanger's mother has just been diagnosed with cancer and is now receiving treatment for a brain tumour. The worst company I've had to deal witth! When selecting my flight I chose a specific date due to the kids having school, and I purchased my flight for a cost of roughly 872 pounds only to recieve a confirmation email to say that I've been charged 962 pounds and the the flight has been changed! Now the kids will have to miss two days of school! Also, I contacted opodo, and they had asked me for a screenshot, in which I gave. Opodo emailed me to say that it was my fault!?!? “vulnerable booking system”

In the beginning, I was using skyscanner to find airplane ticket. At the cheapest search I found was offered by opodo. At the same time, their advertisement was so tricky that it was very obvious on the right and changed destination according to my search in skyscanner. Also, you will get the same results either you click the select button or advertisement logo. The only difference is the price is a couple pounds cheaper by using the advertisement link. Awful experience with Opodo. Charged when the website crashed even though the website said I "would not be charged". Long, ineffient, frustrating, time-expensive and phonecall-expensive attempt to get my money back. So far only half successful as I have to contact a different team to claim back my booking fee. I have had to go out of my way to contact the airline, get information Opodo want and the company has done nothing except but barriers in the way to make it hard. “company makes mistakes and keeps your money. ”

Avoid this site they made a mistake with my booking and would not refund any of the cost incured in booking my flight. Ryanair were very helpful and altered the booking for me without charge because it was within 24 hours since since the booking was made. I telephoned opodo several times but there was no way they would give me a refund. So be carful when your trying to get a economy flight, as this site always seems to pop up but does not offer you a good deal with the amount of added charges… Read Full Review

“2 booking references for 1 family??????”

For no apparent reason I have a booking in my wife's name and mine and also another one in my two children's aged 5 and 2. I cannot use BAs free online seat booking now as they have split the references two one with just minors. Meaning I may have to pay the rip off charges at the airport so we can sit next to our 5 yrs old and 2 yrs old! Opodo rationame is because the children have no luggage allowance added and we do. booked a flight online accurately completing the flight details and paid with debit card.
