I booked a flight on Skyscanner between Manchester and Kochi via Jeddah, with Air Saudi. There were multiple changes to the schedule after my initial booking, meaning that I would then have a 12 hour layover in Jeddah, which was not the case when I booked. I have never written a comment for a travel agent. But I'll have to make an exception for OPODO. For what's it's worth, this agent does make me carve its name in my brain. “Avoid At All Costs!”

I was really happy when I booked a flight from London to South Korea via Ho Cho Minh City in Vietnam, with Opodo at a great price. 1 month before our flight they emailed to say there had been a minor change to schedule. When I reviewed the new schedule, we had been put on a flight that departed Vietnam a whole 5 hours before our flrst flight was due to arrive. Clearly not possible! “Trick to make you pay more”

Immediately after I booked a flight Opodo first refunded the fare and then took the fare of my account. Strange.. Then one week before the flight Opodo sent an email that they could not confirm the flight, because they had "experienced problems with the operating airline's server". Their instruction was to "try to make a new booking on our website again". Of course the price for the same flight had gone up. What a 'clever' way of fleecing clients. I have used them a couple of times. Until a problem occurred and they did not offer any help or advice. I missed my connection because of the delay of my first connection and OPODO did not want to offer any help or reschedule the flight. I am glad that airline has re-booked me on another flight because OPODO was asking me too pay twice the price for a new ticket. “Flight cancellation”

Our flight was cancelled but we never got a notification of it and were only told so when we arrived at the airport. We were told by the airline that Opodo cancelled the booking. They were offering seats that the airline didn't actually release to them at the offered price so when they couldn't honour the booking they cancelled it. Never bothered to tell us. “Worst service EVER!”

I need to change a letter in one of the passengers name on my flight and it is taking forever! First of all, I paid Premium package so this option to change passengers name is free, but wait...free of charge so that Opodo won't charge you but the airlines will through Opodo! Called a few times the first day so finally someone picked up the phone! “Dissapear opodo”

Booked my fligths with opodo, when I get to the counter I get notified b the airline that I have no tickets because there was a problem with the charge, Opodo charge my card and then they payed for my tickets with they business account and off course the charge didnt go through. Even though I had no tickets and had to buy new ones at the moment of my flight for double the money, Opodo still had the balls to charge me. “Service charge charge”

Booked 2 return flights to jersey, £113, on a 10 minute timer to enter all details reminding me I could lose this deal, seemed a good price. There was a service charge of £48 which was instantly removed -£48 leaving price at £113. Price gone up £48 at checkout.thought this would be automatically removed. Turns out had to pay with special card to avoid £48 charge, no sign of this on mobile website especially as under pressure with 10 minute time scale. Do not ever book anything with Opodo. I booked a trip involving 3 flights with them for a total of £460 each. One connecting flight was cancelled by Emirates and there was not a suitable choice given to us for an alternative flight. The Customer Service from Opodo is appalling. We had to call them and tell them that the flight had been cancelled and then they refused to provide a suitable alternative. “Cheating conditions”

The service terms are worse that the worse insurance company. I bought tickets with reimbursement insurance. According with your site, in case of cancellation I could use such insurance. What a surprise when I have to cancel and I was informed that if I cancel I have to pay 60 Euros due to "cancellation fees" and you will reimburse only the equivalent to taxes (around 20 Euros). My sons money was taken from his account for a couple of flights, but the flights were not confirmed. He was told the money would be refunded within 24/48 Hrs, this was 3 weeks ago and still waiting. “Charged 200£ over agreed price and being completely...”

I did a simple booking, the price was £330 (with a confirmation email confirming that price) but then I got charged £530 on my account. After 2 weeks and 10 calls with the worst possible customer service, I've not had a refund at all and I'm being absolutely ignored. Booked flight a few months back. Realised my return flight baggage allowance was not in confirmation email. I have called at least 8 times to get my baggage added to flight. The number your asked to call takes you through however you get a silent tone...... I then call the 0871 who tell you they can not help as only for new bookings asked to transfer through after a 45 min hold I get cut off.....
