I am writing in connection to a booking place on the evening of 24/02/17. I booked flights to bangkok from Manchester for 21/04/2017 returning 01/05/2017. But recieved confirmation for 17/04/2017 returning 27/04/2017. I have been trying to call Opodo/Edreams for the past few days. Yesterday I was on the phone for over two hours on hold. The first time I tried to call them I was cut off. The second time I was told that I would not be placed on hold and then I was. I was desperately trying to cancel my flight which leaves nest Wednesday. I could not do so as I could not get through. “Impossible to Contact”

I booked a return flight to Newcastle for the 21/02. The return had miraculously changed to 21/03 when I tried to book in. Called to change FOUR times and was kept on hold twice for more than half an hour and disconnected twice. As the flight I needed to get back had only one seat left I had to give in and buy it direct from BA for another £250. “Impossible connection change”

Moved my arriving flight five hours AFTER the connecting departing flight. Inmpossible to make - admitted their mistake, will not amend this or refund. Several phonecalls, they have £1000 of my money and transfer me to department to department, one minute their systems are working, when I say o need to cancel the flight, they are down again and they put me on hold and hang up on me. I am still waiting for my refund. I have been waiting for nearly 4 months. Turkish airlines has refunded the money to Opodo but Opodo still has not refunded to me. Customer service is terrible. They are so rude on the phone. I gave my bank details and got confirmation that payment will be processed within 30 days. But this did not happen. Do not use this company under any circumstances. They will change your flight details to different times - send you one email to confirm. If you do not check your email within 24 hours or not notice the changes, there is nothing you can do. No refunds, or charhe a fortune to change flights. Should be closed down… Read Full Review

“Waste time and money buying ticket from opodo ”

I bought a round trip ticket from Germany to Iceland on Jan 19th. Outbound ticket was instantly confirmed, but the return ticket was not confirmed at the same time. That's the weirdest thing that they issued the ticket which was not totally confirmed to the customers. The update process of their reply is they told me I have to call their support team to solve this matter and they can't do any change through emails due to security reasons! I must say I never encountered such a Passive company that customers have to solve their problems only through phone call instead of easier ways over emails. I now have to spend a very much pricey money on calling international call to solve my cheap air flight ticket, does all this make any sense?

The other day, I bought tickets from KiWi.com and have the same issue of wrong name and they solve my problem instantly through emails. So...I really can't accept services can't be done through emails due to security reasons! If that's the case, why they accept my credit card transactions of an unconfirmed confirm ticket in the first place???

I needed a flight from Bristol to connect with a flight from Heathrow. Opodo offered one and I booked a return ticket for £55. They also offered flight insurance for £19 which I took out. I then discovered that there are no direct flights from Bristol to Heathrow and what I had bought was a coach ticket! “Refusing to let me fly, but refusing to refund the ticket!”

Despite no mention of it within their terms and conditions, booking conditions or ticket - Opodo are refusing to give me a refund of £1200 and will only allow me to change the date of my flight within a 12 month (from booking date, not flight date) range. As I'm 'unfit to fly', being pregnant, the date range doesn't work for me. I made a flight booking on 20th Jan 2017 for London to Istanbul. When I received my confirmation email I realised my surname was written twice rather one, so called them to remove the double surname and they agreed to do that for a fee of £25 which I accepted. Step one. Book with Opodo. Step two. Have your flight cancelled, request refund. Step three spend the next 4 months calling and following up at your cost for the calls to no result. Booked 4 flights to Florida in April 2016, paid in full £2800. Later emailed by Opodo with flight time changes which were unsuitable/impossible for our plans, eventually after being refused a refund by Opodo I spoke with airline Lufthansa who agree to one. I booked a flight on Skyscanner between Manchester and Kochi via Jeddah, with Air Saudi. I was really happy when I booked a flight from London to South Korea via Ho Cho Minh City in Vietnam, with Opodo at a great price. 1 month before our flight they emailed to say there had been a minor change to schedule. When I reviewed the new schedule, we had been put on a flight that departed Vietnam a whole 5 hours before our flrst flight was due to arrive. Clearly not possible! we have just had the exact same thing as this with a flight to Denver and apparently their systems are down and cant cancel the flights - ive made several calls, been put on hold and then hung up on, flights in less than a week and the first plan lands five house after the next one departs!!!!!!

Immediately after I booked a flight Opodo first refunded the fare and then took the fare of my account. Strange.. Then one week before the flight Opodo sent an email that they could not confirm the flight, because they had "experienced problems with the operating airline's server". I have used them a couple of times. Until a problem occurred and they did not offer any help or advice. I missed my connection because of the delay of my first connection and OPODO did not want to offer any help or reschedule the flight. Our flight was cancelled but we never got a notification of it and were only told so when we arrived at the airport. We were told by the airline that Opodo cancelled the booking. They were offering seats that the airline didn't actually release to them at the offered price so when they couldn't honour the booking they cancelled it. Never bothered to tell us.
