Star Trek is a good film but not great. Zachary Quinto (Sylar from Heroes) is very believable as Spock. Chris Pine plays the young James T Kirk. The story starts from Kirk's birth and quickly moves on to him joining the Federation as a Cadet. I did not find it particularly good from then on. The timeline is changed and goes off on a complete tangent which leaves all following series and films obsolete! Sorry, but for Star Trek followers this is one to miss. As soon as I got home I watched The Wrath of Khan on blu-ray - much better!
