I have watched Casualty from the start. The story lines are great, the actors are very good and the sets look real. I worked in a real and extremely busy Casualty Department until a couple of years ago, so I can tell you now it's really nothing like the real thing! Some of the things really happen, but not usually all at once as in the Casualty series! Still, I love all hospital drama's and soaps! It takes me back a little now...! (read more)

Casualty follows the everyday life of Charlie Fairhead and his team at Holby City Accident and Emergency Department, as they deal with patients, relatives and the NHS. It has been running for nearly twenty years now and there has been a lot of different faces passing through the doors of Holby. The effects and make up are very realistic, and they really pull out the stops to tackle gritty, up to date and true to life storylines.
