I booked hotel reservations w/Travelocity. Due to illness I had to cancel. Trav. wouldn't refund any money. Their policy doesn't clearly state this. They are crooks. They said they couldn't refund-not their policy but hotels policy. Not true. Complained to supervisor who was supposed to call back...never did. I don't think they employ Americans. I lost $400+. They refused to apply money to later reservation. I WILL TELL ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN NOT TO DEAL WITH THEM OR OTHER THIRD PARTIES FOR RESERVATIONS.

I had confirmed tickets with BA, but when I turned up at the airport, they told me my ticket had not been issued by the agent and therefore the airline could not check me in onto the flight. It took my husband 6 hours on a call to Travelocity to get my ticket issued while I waited at the airport to get onto a flight. In fact I ended up on my original booked flight and eventually checked-in onto that flight with 35 mins to go before the gate closed. In that time, Travelocity, had me confirmed and ...- Read Guest's review (326 words)

I purchased an online fare from travelocity two days ago only to find that the charge pending on my credit card was $1,100 AUD more than that what was quoted and purchased. On requesting Travelocity to cancel the transaction the same evening they emailed me back about 24 hrs later referring me to a cancellation policy on the ticket, which funnily enough states canecellations cannot be made.I emailed them again about hrs ago to cancel the transaction (due to the difference in price quoted and tha ...- Read canx's review (173 words)

The customer service department is a JOKE. They are the most disrespectful group of people I have ever had the unfortunate pleasure to speak with. Every last person from the customer service rep to the manager was rude. And if you ask them to do something be prepared to stay on the phone for hours at a time. After you have waited for someone to come back to the phone, they will tell you something and go back and do another one. They are very unprofessional. I understand that outsource can be the ...- Read jkstallings's review (216 words)

Will never book on Travelocity again due to poor customer service, lack of follow up on emails and phone calls, waiting on hold for over one hour, rude "manager", lack of company follow through on promised refund if package price is lowered within 24 hours.- Read wseattlek's review (82 words)

As a consumer we should be aware that even though we can book a hotel through this service there is no guarantee that the hotel will be at least marginally adequate; if we experience difficulties, expect poor follow-up support including long wait times at the 1-800 number, poor listening and communication skills of employees, poor computer phone answering system - and don't expect an answer if we email them with an inquiry. May the buyer beware. I recommend another service that has been well-rat ...- Read SoCal333's review (135 words)

The price they offer is really great but some issues were not resolved to my likingv. We have been waiting a week now for someone to contact us but have yet to hear anything.
We booked BA flights with them and noticed the price they offered was for 3 adults at $1108 when we corrected it to show 2 adults and 1 child aged three the price went to $1208.
We booked anyway as we wanted the flights then checked with BA who told us that if we had booked the three adult tickets they would have let the ch ...- Read bushbybabe's review (137 words)

Horrible experience while trying to make changes to my tickets.Call centre service reps kept asking same question all over again, kept putting me on hold, and then got conveniently disconnected. Then next time around same thing - It was a vicious circle. Wasted money and time. With other travel sites you can make changes or cancel your tickets yourself on-line avoiding "customer service"- Read Guest's review (64 words)

AOL Travelocity does not have the same low Price Guarantee on their hotel rooms. I booked three nights in Orlando @ $65.95 (tax included) a night - PREPAID. When I get there I see on the marquis in front of the hotel that the price is $50.56 (tax included). It was a total hassle getting AOL Travelocity to give a refund for the price difference. I got every excuse that you could imagine, but I did not give in. Also, the Travelocity $50 coupon when you find a lower price does not apply to AOL ...- Read Guest's review (126 words)

I booked two hotel rooms for my family (well in advance of our trip) I found it by googling Pet Friendly Hotels. It claimed a "Best Price Guarantee". Several days after booking the rooms, I learned that the other two families traveling with us needed to return a day earlier. I attempted to contact the company to switch the reservation from Saturday to Friday, and was actually planning on booking two additional rooms for the other two families as well. The phone number on the website brought m ...- Read lizmedley's review (254 words)

Last week I booked my trip on the travelocity website. The trip included a return air ticket from Toronto-Boston and a 13 day stay at the Sheraton Colonial. The trip was charged to my Visa credit card but I never received any confirmation. On my enquiry I was informed that Travelocity has no record of my trip in its system. I gave them my credit card transaction number as well as my trip details.
I sent over 20 emails to practically everyone at Travelocity over a 2 day period. I was asked for ...- Read zainsayed's review (203 words)

I am very disappointed with the service I received from Travelocity today. Their website advertises that they have customer service representatives available 24/7 to help us with any travel arrangements, conflicts, refunds, cancellations etc. however that is not the case.
In attempts to cancel a reservation today, I had to spend two hours on hold on the phone, transferred three different times to three different agents only to be told that I could not get a refund for cancelling my reservation ...- Read vivtsao's review (329 words)

I bought a ticket specifically because Travelocity said it was changeable (with a fee). I called three days before the flight to make changes. The first person I spoke to said there was no availability on other flights for the whole month of September. I'd looked online before calling and knew this was not the case. I called back immediately and got another agent who said that there were lots of seats left on the flight I wanted. She put me on hold to make the changes, came back ten minutes ...- Read kairosea's review (354 words)

We went to CA for our first really big family vacation. Made reservations with Travelocity in a cabin in Lake Tahoe. Confirmed 2 adults 2 children. Got there was 1 bed and no pull out sofa. Got there wasn't even room on the floor for the children to use an airmattress to sleep. (We were going to stay there 4 nights) Tried to get another, bigger cabin but the only one they had for 4 cost $100 per night more. Called Travelocity. The customer service rep was very nice but could not help. S ...- Read Kerry Fitzgerald's review (330 words)

Travelocity.com - The service was terrible. After the hotel did not have our reservartion, the solution offered was for the customer service rep to give me a phone number so I could make my own reservation. The only room I could get was $50 more per night than the original booking, and when Travelocity gave me a "refund," they did not even refun the full amount of the original booking, much less the money that I had to pay over and above the original reservation because of THEIR MISTAKE.- Read clarissalinton's review (123 words and 1 comment)
