I go to Expedia almost every time I'm looking for a trip. They have so many flights and hotels to choose from so that I'm able to find exactly what I'm looking for. “The Cabot Links in Cape Breton”

The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The hotel is new and I understand that they are in the learning process. Never had to use the customer service, so cannot comment on that aspect. Booked at least 10+ trips and never had any issues. Alot of the time their prices seem to be cheaper. Even if they are not it is only marginally more expensive. I have recently booked two tickets to America using Expedia and I have to say the process was rather simple and straightforward. I have used other travel agents in the past, with a few crashing out just when I'm about to book, or worse still once I've entered in my card details. “Long customer service wait, but came through in the end.”

It's not true that Expedia.com has terrible customer service, though it's true that the first few times I tried calling, no one would pick up. Finally someone picked up and I explained to her that I found a better price. I was put on hold for around 20 minutes while she consulted with her advisers, but in the end, Expedia.com refunded me 450$ and threw in a 50$ coupon. I'm surprised at all the poor reviews this site has got. I've booked 2 holidays through them with my partner and we have had no problems at all and always found an excellent price.

The site is easy to use and we even booked taxi services from hotel > airport no problems at all.

Maybe we were lucky as customer service doesn't seem to be too great?

Their prices were amazing so we decided to book with them, we were a little nerveous at first as we had never gone with them before but friends had so we went for it. Im so glad we did. Please note that I have ONLY used Expedia to book flights - hotels, cars etc are not included in this review.

I have used Expedia to book flights many times (probably 10ish return flights) over the past few years and every time I have been happy with it. It is a good tool to search for the cheapest light and it often has discounts you can't find from the airlines' websites. As I was searching through google, I did find sites of places where users have had bad experiences with Expedia. However, there are many more users who are satisfied with Expedia, rather than unsatisfied with it. If you really think about it, only people who have had bad experiences with Expedia are likely to complain as opposed to satisfied users who are not likely to write any comment at all. We booked six hotels for a touring holiday of California with Expedia. The information on each hotel was good. The booking confirmation came within minutes and the prices were good.
When we arrived at each hotel, no paperwork was required. In four out of six of the hotels we were upgraded.
With this type of service I wonder how travel agents will survive.
